Is there anyone here that plays Warhammer?
They have all new expanded rules, new adventures, and suppliments for all of the races coming out in May.

I'm going to buy as much as I can when they come out. I've got a group in Belltown, Seattle, Washington. We are very experienced and run a really fun, action packed, fast paced game.

You want in? Drop me a personal line.

1. you talking WFB or 40K?
GW will be relasing the new army books one at a time. The new 40K rules came out in December along with the new Space Marine codex. Terminids will be released in May.

WFB just released Ogre Kingdoms, a new army and the supplement campaign 'Rise of Sotek' will be released this summer along with new Skaven (my army!) and lizzardmen models including plastic plague monks. WFB has no current plans to update the rulebook this year.

Have fun gaming!

2. I stuck with Battletech
Dropped out for a few years, and came back to find it gone. WTF?

When I get the money, I'm buying up all the miniatures and stuff I don't have on eBay.

3. some still play CBT
but most have gone to the new wizkids CMG 'Mechwarrior'. Its not a detailed as the FASA game but I find it tatically enjoyable, plus the sculpts/colors of the Mechs and other units are well done.

Info here

Also look here for CBT (FASA Battletech)

4. cool
We've got some serious money coming in a couple of months. One of the things I want to do is hit eBay and fill out my 'mech miniatures collection.

5. You know there are many reasons for this

You may find some classic tech people

Try here

Though there are many reasons why Tech is on life support and it has much to do with internal politics and some of the fanatics, long story. You want details, PM me.

Oh and as soon as it comes out of storage and local people get first divs, I will be getting rid of my collection... multiple reasons.

6. I wish I had time to play, but I have two pretty good WHFB armies
I have never played the game due to lack of time, but I have a pretty good sized painted Empire Army (I'm guessing if magicked up properly and appropriately with a character leading it, it would probably be 3,500 points or so) and an orc/goblin army that is also painted and has a black orc general that I had painted by a Golden Demon winning painter.

And, I live minutes from a GW store in a local mall and several other pretty good hobby stores within 30-40 minutes of me.
