1. Quantberries
I used to love eating Quantberry cereal for breakfast when I was a kid. The tingling feeling they made in your mouth as their waveforms collapsed was awesome.

5. Oh yeah! Those are good, but I'm trying to lose weight
So now I eat Indetermin-Os for breakfast. They're tasty, and very low calorie. In fact, you can't even measure how many calories they have!

3. Is quantum the most hijacked scientific term by woos?
I think so. I now wince when I see anything with this term outside of science(sometimes even in science when quantum and conciousness are used together)

4. I disagree
Energy wins hands-down as the most hijacked/misused term but quantum is certainly a very close second.

6. good point
but I would say energy is a broad enough term that it isn't as offensive. Quantum is a very particular term...

8. Hah! You've got it exactly backward
It's PHYSICISTS who've hijacked "quantum" from the well-meaning hobbits of woo.

Really.

Take it from the Grand Poobah himself:

7. Just ran across this
"And, of course, there's something I call quantum flux, which is like the binding force behind everything in the universe. Plus, it can cause time travel. And it's an energy source, too."
— The Onion, "Sci-Fi Writer Attributes Everything Mysterious To 'Quantum Flux'"

Read the whole article, it's a laugh riot.

9. Lol!
That's perfect, innit? It could so easily be repurposed for the Quantum New Age narrative. What they do DOES remind me of hokey hi-tech signifiers in bad science fiction.
