1. "after all, cats have birth charts too"
Of course they do.

Our cats stubbornly refuse to learn French, which is why we never take them across the Channel with us. Typical Leo-s.

3. My old tomcat was a rescued Himalayan
and I got him at about 4 years of age. Now most cats have absorbed a little language by then, but he appeared to be a blockhead about anything but "no."

Then I got the bright idea to say "comida" instead of "dinner" and the old boy understood perfectly.

Obviously the poor old thing had been owned by Hispanics. I was just lucky he hadn't been a Pueblo or Navajo kitty, Spanish being a little more accessible around here than Dine, Zuni, Keresan, or the Tiguex dialects.

A year later I got an English understanding Maine Coon and he started to learn English through observation.

He still responded better to Spanish until he died at the ripe old age of 17.

I'm not a bit surprised by the German kitty story, in other words. I just don't think it has a damned thing to do with astrology.
