Heart Meridian Weakness and what to do
Only four people that I have tested have ever had heart meridian weakness. None of them really had overt heart problems. So far, two kinds--

1. Two of them came after operations. They just didn't recover as they should have. They became very weak, and things just didn't really go right post recovery, but did not specifically have to do with the heart. Neither one were heart operations. I suspect it had something to do with the anaesthesia.

2. Two of them came with acute, feverish viral conditions that ended with bronchitis. One was a kid that ended up being hospitalized overnight for low oxygen levels. The other one had to go to ER twice after "recovering" from the flu--for heart palpitations.

I consider heart meridian weakness to be so serious that I thought I would mention it here and tell you the acupressure points to use to strengthen the heart meridian, in case you know anyone who fits the above two categories.

You can look up the location of these points on

http://www.acuxo.com/

First, massage Liver 1 and Heart 9

Then, massage Heart 3 and Kidney 10

I felt motivated to post this because I just tested my fourth case, and yup, he's back in the hospital now with non heart related complications.

2. I have a question
Does the heart meridian directly affect the actual organ, or is it by its nature more broad-reaching than that? That is, when "weakness" is identified in the heart meridian, does that suggest that something is amiss with the heart, or does it imply a more general (though still potentially serious) condition?

I'm asking because you sound like a direct source of information, and perhaps a discussion can result.

And I'll state for the record that, as a guest in this Group, I won't be attacking anyone who cares to reply to me. Thank you!

4. I only know from my experience
Only one of the four had any indications of anything related to the heart, and that was palpitations for which he went to the ER. He also had been on Vioxx for a short period of time and had had an angioplasty at one time.

Nobody went on to have any problems with their hearts after these incidents. But I don't know what would have happened if their heart meridian weakness had not been addressed. Presumably in some cases it may have resolved on its own. But one of them is in the hospital now, with a post op condition not related to the heart. Hopefully he will be okay.

There is little downside from rubbing these points. I now consider it to be a possible post op condition, and will be watching for it in people that I know. I'll also be looking for it as a post viral condition when there is upper respiratory involvement and extreme weakness.

As a broader statement about what happens in heart meridian weakness, I really don't know. I do know that the Touch for Health courses do not even give out the points which would weaken the heart meridian, because they consider the potential heart meridian weakness to be extremely dangerous. All the for weakening other meridians are in the course and the book.

6. Thanks for this information
A question--could a weakness in the heart meridian be related to emotional trauma? I don't know whether or not this is discussed in your healing modality, but, if memory serves, in Entertropic Therapy, which uses circuits similar to your healing points, there are times when emotional traumas as well as physical traumas are released.

7. probably
but I don't think any of the triggers here were primarily emotional. They may have been present as a type of background issue. Like I said, two were viral, two were post op. Again, this is just my experience. In all of them the issues were acute, rather than being chronic, although in one of them the condition had been going on a couple of months since the operation.
