MrSG was laid off in December. The state of Washington grants some people the okay to go to school and continue to get benefits. He has his meeting about this on Wednesday, 3/4/09.

Any positive vibes would be appreciated. I haven't seen his so excited about something in quite some time, and I'd really love to have him get permission to attend school (it's for bakery and pastry chef; he's already really good, but needs the training for employability).

You guys, I don't know what to make of it...as I am remaining detached...but my grandmother is BETTER! She won't likely be WELL...but she is actually conversing and sitting up and even eating a little! The dementia is still there, so it's not as though she realizes what has happened (or else I'd get down there and question her about the other side, as I still feel she was there...maybe still is??? I just don't know), but she responds to questions in the moment very well.

I'm still simply grateful that she isn't suffering. That will always be my greatest wish.

When we held the vigil for my beloved father-in-law, his daughters were so upset because they thought that he was suffering. It's funny, he was a big old Marine colonel who had no use for religion or spirituality, and certainly none of that hokus pokus stuff; just the here and now (that aspect of him taught me so much).

Anyway, during his last hospital stay when I went to see him, he told me that his dad (dead at 23 by the time the colonel was 2) had been visiting him saying he was going to be fine. I was so happy to hear this. But he said, you don't understand, I'm going to die soon but this isn't all there is. The colonel said he'd been going out on trips with his dad and sometimes with his dad and another relative showing him that life continues. He told me not to tell anyone (except my husband) because he couldn't bear the added concern of loved ones thinking he'd lost his mind while dying.

So I know when he was unconscious and his breathing was labored that he just wasn't there and suffering. I just think that the life force that maintains the physical mechanism is so strong that it keeps on striving even when we're not in it.

... got a call from a headhunter today about a job opening at a company that I'd really like to work for. I know a few people there and have them listed on my resume as references, and the headhunter was going to submit it to the hiring manager for review.

I am also waiting for results back from an endometrial biopsy due to heavy bleeding.

I hope it's just a case of taking too much estrogen, which thickens the lining.
I stopped taking the estrogen in December.

They said they want me to come in and see them about the biopsy.
I don't know if that means it's minor or it's bad. I have been attempting to get another loan on my house so I can pay my bills, and I will have to put my house on the market immediately. I can't go to Houston until I get that money from the bank.

113. The gyno called me today and told me the news.

She said the bleeding was probably from too much estrogen. I have a polyp in the lumen of the uterus.
My pap smear was NORMAL. I do NOT have endometrial cancer. Polyp needs to be removed but is not urgent.

WHHEEEWWWWWW!!!!! (Massive sighs of relief) :D

As far as the house, I went back to the bank to get more money on my HELOC (home equity line of credit) to pay bills until I get my house on the market. Banker Boy wouldn't give me any more money and I just wanted a couple of thousand dollars. The house is nearly empty and I am ready to go to Houston and get a realtor...if I had the money to get to Houston.

Banker Boy was worried about my income. I am baffled. I don't have income, but the house I am using for collateral is worth more than TEN TIMES what I borrowed last year. It's not like I'm using up my collateral.

I am enraged by this. If another bank would give me a small loan, I would be glad to take all my business away from the bank with the HELOC after I sell the house.

I went to a second bank today and they said they were all loaned out on their HELOCs. :banghead:

79. I have another request, this one for someone I work with and her

husband.

This woman is the office manager where I work. Last week, they found out her husband had had a stroke (mild, but still....). He had been losing the vision in one eye. It's coming back now, thanks to BP meds, but it's not completely back.

But the worst thing is that they found out he has MS, which explains the occasional numbness and other symptoms he has had. He's 33 years old, prime time to be diagnosed with MS. He hasn't worked for 2 years; hasn't been able to find a job. They have a son in middle school. Budget is very tight for them, though they get through the month. Now, however, even though she has insurance for herself, him, and their son, her husband has had a lot of doctor's appointments and it's $25 a pop for co-pays. And she doesn't know what else she'll have to pay after the insurance pays their part.

Anyway, she is such a great person, works her tail off, and now they are dealing with these health issues. I know that MS has many symptoms, and that some people only get a few of them. But still, this is a shock to them, and the additional financial burden is even more worrisome.

If I could ask for prayers, white light, healing, etc. for this woman and her family, I would so appreciate it. Her first initial is D, and she lives in Washington.

please send good vibes, prayers, reiki, etc our way, esp. mine. I have a pavlovian reaction to even the thought of this relative who is on a visitation. I got so well trained as a kid that the person doesn't need to do a thing. just the thought much less the presence triggers a negative reaction. and my Mother whom I live with after promising that after the last fiasco that this person wasn't going to be let in the house had the person over. and plans to have the person over several more times before the visitation is over. and right now I am housebound w/agoraphobia, can't leave and don't have a place to go if I could. and my mother says *she* doesn't have any choice, she can't cut off family. :bomb:

The earth is beautiful even in mudseason. It is the humans, or of at least a certain sort, that I have trouble with :P

I am going to get through it but as Checkov in Star Trek ones said "I vill live but I von't enjoy it" - at least for the duration of this situation. This person was and is a very unhappy human being who vents it's anger at targets that won't fight back instead of at the people it is really furious at. An emotional instead of physical bully. It is amazing to see how many still back down in front of it's wrath because it is easier to give in than stand up to say no. one visit many years ago I got screamed at for a solid hour because the canned veggies were not organized until my Dad told me to just do it so the person would shut up.

I broke out my emergency supply of kava kava. I don't think I have touched it since last visit. Makes me a bit foggy but better foggy than the sword of damocles feeling. also am getting help from my guides who seem to be helping buffer things a bit. maybe I can finally delete this reaction to this person or enough of it it is only an annoyance. annoyance can be dealt with much easier. just gotta hang on to wed.

104. ugh. Now I am coming down with a cold or infection

sinuses & throat acting up, woke up feeling like I had been pounded and hoped it was just the stress. also I woke up feeling like someone had punched me in the throat (no brusing no rash, just hurt). what the heck? have taken vitamins, olive leaf extract, run energy, prayed. I hate to ask again but I am afraid of getting an infection or flu on top of everything else going straight to heck.
