Sadly, one of the women
who lived in the house with me this summer died from an overdose over the weekend. She was suicidal when I knew her, but they say she was doing well with a new job and car. Her sons are 12 and 18.

1. I'm so sorry
That's so sad, especially for her sons.

2. It is.
I feel very sorry for them. She was the one I got close to because our mothers are identical. They are saying it was an accident, but I'm not convinced. When someone is that depressed, no job or car or nice clothes, nothing matters.

3. How tragic!
I'm so sorry to hear that. Do the sons have other family to live with? It's all so hard to imagine. :-(

11. Her oldest son graduated
last spring and was planning to go to college. Her youngest was living with his dad and step-mom, but was miserable there because the step mother was very mean to him. :(

5. Oh, that's so sad, VSM
Sending her white light for safe passage and more light for her children, for their peace of mind. Here's hoping she works out her issues next time around. :(

6. Tragic votesomemore and
sad that no one saw it coming to intervene. I'm sending her spirit and her sons all the light I can muster.

12. I can't believe no one saw it coming...
the thing is she trusted me, due to the above mentioned identical mother issues. I have only ever met one other woman who had the same kind of abusive mother, the *special* brand. That was our bond.

One of the things that got me on the outs there at the house was a situation with her because she was taking drugs. I actually took her to the pharmacy to get a prescription for muscle relaxers. I told her I wouldn't tell. But, then I found out she was also wearing a morphine patch someone from outside the house had given her. And, all day she kept whispering to me that she had taken two more pills. I hadn't figured on her taking the whole bottle in one day! So, I HAD to tell. They took her to the emergency room then. That was in June. She was furious with me, but we did make up. There was just too much other stuff at the house I refused to put up with. She told me the only thing she ever looked forward to was sleeping. She ended up getting another prescription, they took her to a doctor, I hesitate to mention the name of the med. But, I'm pretty sure that she used that and alcohol.

I still hate the person who called 911 when I overdosed two years ago. I have lost so many friends to the grave, but Spirit will not let me go. When I talk to Her, all I get is, I don't yet know the reason. I am such a miserable failure as a human being, I cannot imagine what the point is.

14. You are not a miserable failure as a human being and don't beat up
on yourself for it. Everyone is responsible for themselves in the end and so is she. I really meant to say that it's too bad no one got there first, but maybe Spirit meant it to be this way. Be good to yourself. You are not responsible for everyone. This is a very hard lesson I have had to teach myself as well.

now what she never had here. Love. Everyone loved her, but she could never feel it for herself.
