Anyone sense another attack?

Some have been wondering in the GD thread if there will be another attack during Bush's term. Right now the republicans have control on all the government. I think if an attack happens it'll be either the end of this year or early/mid next year and it will probably be a bomb. I hope it doesn't happen because I don't think our country can take it anymore emotionally. Does anybody sense anything?

You can bet that at the very least, if 9.11 was MIHOP, that there is another one in the air...

2. I think they will find an excuse to initiate martial law from

an impeding terrorist threat whether real or manufactured. * numbers are plummeting too low for them not to make a grab for power, no matter how they do it.

I will be surprised if we have an actual attack like 9-11. It will be something maybe more on the lines of the attack on the US Cole. Something close, but not really close.

4. He loses in another attack.

Polling showed that if we were attacked, * would go way down in the polls. That was about 2 months before the election. He's really sucking wind now. He'd have to declare martial law. He would be at about 20% if we're hit.
