non astrology - searching skills needed

I tried posting this in du lounge but it sunk in 3 minutes - so I need slow moving forum and since there is no meeting room -

some time over the last month - there was a post where someone said they were earning money painting on furniture for 'rich' people - they had built up a little business doing this

I have tried all types of search arguments and have not come upon the original post - unfortunately I did not save it

so if anyone can help me find it I would appreciate it

The artist said they love to talk about their work and how they make it all happen

1. It is really difficult to use the advanced search for archives

when you don't remember which forum/group it was posted in.....

2. Tough task. Do you remember whether the person started the

thread or just volunteered that info about their work as part of a thread? Was the thread basically about art/craft, making a living, or what?

You might pose this question in the Artists forum.

4. there in lies the problem - what forum

I have looked through artists, small business, web business, improvements and don't see it - don't remember the name - and no the person jumped in - I had responded to them - I searched on my id and nothing - hhhhmmmmmm - that will teach me to email to myself the information

Well, I hope you find it. Might try asking the question in the lounge everytime you visit DU. Maybe someone will eventually see it and know the answer.

3. Have you checked the DIY, Home Improvement, Craft

Group? It MIGHT have been there. Or, perhaps one of Eloriel's Feng Shui threads? There is also an Art/Artists group. I don't remember the post, but that is where you might find them, hopefully. :shrug:
