Is anyone else having just awful feelings lately or this morning?

I just got hit with a wave of utter despair out of nowhere. Something wicked this way comes.

1. I woke up at 1:30 am with a lot of energy moving around

not the usual really bright energy, either--more just nervous, moving around energy. This past week I've had flashes of despair, like you, out of nowhere, but they have gone in an instant. My landlord has been ill the last three days, and has said she thinks the mysterious fever that laid her low had to do with a lot of this unresolved energy moving around. Both of us agreed that it isn't pleasant energy. I have a feeling that things are fixing to bust loose or something. Take care, dear Shadow!

2. I just had a thought

I've been having some really intense dreams lately. One about three days ago in which, and please don't be scared by this even though I am lol, I apparently killed or hurt someone in the dream and the police were on the way to arrest me. A day ago my upstairs neighbor actually did get busted for drugs. Police in SWAT gear, battering ram, the whole nine yards.

Also been having a lot of dreams with characters from my life popping up consistently. Usually the people in my dreams are people I don't know. ALl these have an overwhelming feel of impending dread.

Now that I've cheered everyone up let's dance!!!

3. Do you use a pendulum?

If you do, you can use it to help you find out if this dread is something general or specific, and whether you should prepare and protect yourself. I've had the intuitive hit to send you a lot of love and light right now, and to tell you to put up your shields and surround yourself with light.

8. Me too. Terrible headache. Did yoga for a while and then

brewed a pot of coffee. After a few cups I went right to sleep... Found out that a relative was taken to the hospital last night.

5. I have been bummed out, totally, for a week.

Today I'm full of dread and despair. To be honest, I'm dealing with some personal issues -- but none are all that serious. Just bothersome. So I don't know what the problem is.
I certainly hope they will pass soon. These feelings, I mean. LOL

7. Do you guys ever worry about the effect of reading too much DU?

I like getting my news from this site, I love reading this forum, but I probably spend too much time on DU some days. When I do that, though I notice i start getting feelings of impending doom. Just scan the subject lines in GD. So many of them seem focused on gloom and doom, and a fair percentage even seem delighted by the fact.

When I start feeling that sense of 'something wicked this way comes' I do some divination to make sure it's not something personal I need to attend to. Then I cut back on negative input, which sadly often mean DU. Read uplifting books, exercise, etc.

10. yep it is hard to avoid getting caught up in the group energy

If I don't feel up to shielding properly I simply can't read most of the forum and basically stay here. I have gotten pretty good over the years figuring out what is mine and what is somebody else's but when I am wound up like I am lately i can't focus enough to figure it out.

9. Who knows but apparently another tornado has hit Atlanta

I've always been kind of a weather witch.

were feeling the funk.
It passed with the tornado.
What a wild night.The thing passed by about half a mile away and we didn't even know it.
All we knew was that something changed the energy of the moment.

15. I was going to say no, but apparently I got a delayed "hit"

I was fine until yesterday (Saturday) evening. Then I caught the wave of despair, and I'm still riding it. Couldn't turn my mind off all night, so now I'm operating on a sleep deficit in addition to the depression phase. When is it going to stop, I'm wondering.
