My Reiki level 1 attunement was yesterday

I've gotten reiki treatments as part of massage therapy but never had a full treatment, so I wasn't entirely sure what I was in for. It was very interesting because I am not very sensitive -- strike that -- I have not thought of myself in that way in the past but that is an area in my life I am starring to open up. :) anyway, I've felt the reiki during my treatments as a warm glow. My attunment felt similar but I also felt a heaviness. After that we practiced on ourselves and each other. I didn't feel it as strongly then. The teachers also gave us a lot of background information. I felt like it was a good class.

Last night I had a lot of very vivid dreams and a strong sense of presences around me. So that's interesting. Also, this morning I noticed that the little piece of yellow quartz I was wearing has developed a wide white streak in it that I really think was not there before. Hmmmm. :eyes:

So anyway... That's all my news; will definitely keep you all posted. :hi:

1. I'm not attuned to Reiki

I use a different more obscure Lemeurian technique.

But I truly hope this helps you in the finest of ways.

2. Congrats!

I think I floated for about three days after my Reiki 1 attunement. When the energy started to integrate into my physical body, I sort of felt a let-down. I loved that floaty feeling.

I've been into Reiki for about four years now and it's just wonderful. I love feeling the energy and how it's different on various places on someone's body. Lots to learn and feel!

I have attended some journeys and Chakra sessions with someone in dallas. She's really great and well known. I was wondering if it could be her..
