Mudras for healing
Does anyone else use mudras?
(Hand positions with specific meanings - commonly used in meditation)

I have been experimenting with them for a while now. I dont necessarily use them just in prayer or meditation...i've found them effective when just sitting quietly.

1. I have a book about them (LOL -- I have a book about
EVERYTHING -- or several).

I'm also interested in mantras, and have a wonderful book about that as well, tho I don't remember the author's name off-hand.

I should look them up, and get busy. :-)

I think the mudras are very beautiful...

...when my dad was dying, his hands were in what I think of as the "OHM" position, thumb and index fingers touching, with other fingers relaxed. He was not into 'alternative' healing/spirituallity at all. Quite the contrary. But, it seems his body just took that pose at the end....
