'The Divine Matrix' by Gregg Braeden
This NY Times bestseller is a wonderful book that is mind blowing at times. It is about the the principles of the Law Of Attraction and our abilities as creators but he uses physics, experiments done and knowledge gained, to back up the theories he presents. It is somewhat more precise than the generalizations found in The Secret, but neither nullify the other. There was one section which I found extremely fascinating. In it he was talking about being a complete part of the whole while still being ourselves. To demonstrate what he was talking about he used an example of a hologram book mark which was available years again. He said if you looked at the bookmark, the hologram, as a whole, cut the bookmark into a hundred pieces, then took a magnifying glass and looked at one of those tiny cut of pieces, you would see the entire hologram in that little piece and each of the other ones.

This book is well worth the read if you are at all interested in knowing, understanding and fully gaining access to the creativity each of us have within us.

1. I love Gregg Braeden.
I use one of his teachings as a New Moon wish - "I feel in my heart what I wish to see in the world" (feeling being one of the first steps of manisfestation).

5. great book....great guy
I love Gregg Braden....
I've been to 3 of his workshops, first one about Awakening to Zero Point, the collective initiation, back in 1996.
He does a great presentation....
I was totally in heaven when I saw this new book... The Matrix and Gregg...
doesn't get much better than that...

8. I am too.
Not familiar at all with this author. He's cute, though :D
The thing that lends credibility is that he has been at this a long time.
Let's face it, the Secret has become Vogue, but many have been saying, thoughts become things for a long time. eh?

9. He Is Cute!
And the book is fantastic. The thing is, as you say, the truths have been around for eons, and he says this. But what is happening now is that physicists now believe that "thoughts are real" and have set out to, and are, proving it. The first several chapters have an emphasis on the science and it so eye opening.

lildreamer316: As to availability, all I can say is that a month ago when I went to B & N to get it, it was featured prominently in the front of the store.

10. I'll have to get the book.
Problem is I have about a dozen books in progress.

What might become of this? I bet you could strike up a conversation on the bus, or grocery check out and the person will know something of it.

Hey. I skip over to the skeptics forum on a regular basis. Remember when we were one forum and we got to debate them. Not conducisive to harmony, ergo the separation.
Don't we all want to view things from all available angles? Yes. The Skep's have limited input, for sure. So one of them was griping that we 'woo woo's' are claiming physics. Yuh. Eat it with your corn flakes.

Science rules. ;)

11. They Don't Bother Me
I can think as I want and do as I like. It's kind of sad, for it's their loss. God I remember how awful it used to be in the lounge when the talk was about astrology. There were a couple (not to be named) who are still on DU that were absolutely vicious. I wonder what troubles them so much, 'cause when I see threads I don't like I move along and leave it to the people who want it. It's not for me but it may be for them.

12. When I got to DU
and saw an astrologer, alternative forum.. I was THERE!
My liberalism is a direct offshoot of my mysticism.

They are inserperable. This may be why I suspect those 'out there', who claim progessive-ism are with us.

Stinck and stones. Rubber glue.

They are with us. Count them in.
Yes. There are tedious assh*s. They haven't caught the drift yet.

Go for what you want and like ! Convinced that is the only way we get out of this bad dream.

13. Loved Your Post
If they aren't already with us, they will be soon. There is a change in the wind, a breeze that's blowing a better way for all, towards us. There were those who wouldn't accept the notion of gravity or that the world is round, yet we now send men into space. It is the new frontier and I believe we are the pioneers.
