Meditation, or "Kef Says Hi"

Disclaimer: When I meditate I turn off lights, furnace or a/c, windows and blinds are closed - so the possibility of drafts or 'cold sensations' etc is minimalized. I also light several candles and usually have a smudge bowl burning as well.

Anyway, since I haven't meditated in a couple months, I went thru about the first 10 minutes just unwinding, focusing, relaxing (I didn't want to just 'jump in' with "I want I want I want"), then I gave my thanks to Spirit and all my guides, teachers, and asked for their continued protection and guidance.

Then it got freaky. I took turns with the same request: "If you're here with me, if you're watching over me, if you can hear me, please give me a sign" to my usual suspects.
Kef - no response
Alan (a former bf) - no response
Mom - no response
Dad - the candle on the floor in front of me's flame started hoppin' all
over the place and I swear it got 'taller' on the wick.
Mom again - no response
Alan again - no response
Then I asked for Kef again, this time using his real name - first and last - and not only did the candle freak out, but my cd player stopped in mid-tune for a couple seconds, then started again.

Just like something Mr. Electronics would do, eh?


Guess that means he's still keeping an eye on us, DU, despite what must be an incredible workload over there with all the Bush-scandals he's been helping to shed the light on!

6. A quick follow up/confirmation

Over the last 24 hours, I've found pennies - smack dab in my path; walking the dogs around the block this morning, taking out the garbage, in the soda aisle at the grocery store ...

Pennies were Kef & MamaKef's "secret message".

Ok, yeah ... people do drop change all the time. But, this many, this soon after what happened last night ... I know he's around. And I'm glad.

Once I found 5 pennies in my bed between the sheets.
