Barack Obama the next President?
Nancy at Starlightnews has posted on Barack Obama. It gives me hope that we will be seeing relief in the future. I believe it is short enough to post it all here:

http://starlightnews.com

Barack Obama has become the new hope of the Democratic Party as it moves toward the 2008 election. His honest and clear voice streams forth like a beacon of light amidst the murky cacophony of political doublespeak clouding the horizon. His words and ideas, at this point, are his own and make sense in a practical, thoughtful sort of way. He tells us what America is about and where it should be headed rather than bemoaning what has become of us and venting anger about our victimization to the Darth Vader Clan presently in control. He seems a bit like the first spring sunshine after a long and dreary winter. But he also seems young, merely two years in the Senate thus far and with a freshness and ease that hardly seems ready to take on the weight of the world. Two more years before the vicious combat of the next presidential election engulfs the nation is not a long time.

Although Obama (born 8/4/61 in Honolulu, no time given) has not yet decided whether or not to run for president in 2008, it is evident from his chart that he will be increasingly popular from now through the early months of 2009 and beyond. Converse Venus will be in a waxing square to his Sun (12Leo15) through January 2008, and progressed Venus will be conjunct his progressed North Node (26Leo55) and subsequently his natal North Node (27Leo18) from January 2008 through February 2009. In addition, progressed Jupiter is currently stationary quincunx Obama’s North Node through 2012. These are the aspects dreams are made from, and winners of big elections. They signal an incredible popularity that little can diminish. Should he choose to run, either first or second place on the ticket, it seems likely he will bring a victory with him.

1. Not to start a flamewar in this forum, but gracious I hope not.
.. he's not ready yet. Doesn't really know who he is.

I think this time around should be Al Gore's, with Russ Feingold as VEEP.
I'm not an astrologer and don't know anything about either's chart, but my
gut feeling is that they would be an amazing team and bring some hope and
vigor back to the people of this country.

2. I don't think anyone is ever ready.
America needs a new direction. It needs a young leader that knows his roots. We have way too many seasoned politicians. I think its time for a rookie shot at doing things differently.. crossing divides and uniting this country. And to try to repair some ot the damage Bush has done with world relations.
