This has been reported as the family's response to the senseless death of Emily Keyes who was the young girl that was killed in the school hostage situation earlier this week. At her memorial service today, this is what struck me:

"Let's take the random act that has occurred and turn it to random acts of kindess," Louis Gonzales, Emily's uncle, urged.

I don't know anything about the family, but that statement really touched me.
