Feeling out of sorts...how's about y'all?

I was speaking with a DU friend here and it seems we have both had a rough two weeks. It hasn't just been the mundane things either. I have spoken to several other friends who have that "special" edge and they too have been "under the weather." Have the other mystics, witches, psychics, astrologers, sensitives, et al here been experiencing the same thing?

Every time I have tried to access my abilities or just try to find calm, I seemed to be thwarted. Think there was some kind of cosmic 'upset?' I literally felt like I had been turned off. Anyone else felt this, especially this past week.

However, I do 'feel' that an overall awakening is coming. Perhaps the powers that be shut everyone down so as not to overload them with this coming power surge? Anyone have any other crazy theories?

I am sorry to hear of your losses. However, I really do feel that something big is coming our way. The "1%ers" will see some good things too, but it is those of us with our feet in both worlds that are about to see something big.

I do sense a great "awakening." Maybe it will only be with a few of us, but that is not my sense. Others I have spoken to about this are also getting a huge sense that something is about to happen...perhaps not 'good-looking' at first, but the beauty will soon emerge!

Remember, when you expect bad things, you find them. When you look for good, you find it wasn't hidden at all, just ignored!

2. There seems to be some weird cosmic upheaval.

The weather has been unseasonal here in my little corner of the planet. It's like August here and even hotter than August and this is February. The trees, plants and animals are getting confused.

Some birds have started nesting and I'm afraid if we have a cold snap and revert back to the winter weather we should be having that the babies will die.

I do believe all these things are interconnected with our moods, psyches and the other dimensions as well.

I am hoping those astrologers here, who haven't been "upheaval-ed," might be able to shed some light on the situation.

I have also noticed the very odd weather. We go from 70-80 degree weather, to highs in the 30's the following day...then back up. It is wreaking hell on my teeth and sinuses!!! Of course, we have also had a very dry (and dangerous winter) in Oklahoma.

I agree about the crazy weather patterns no doubt adding to this feeling of unease - or vice versa.Like you in OK ,here in AZ we are bone dry. Fires burning here already and this is our winter "wet" season...not good. The San Francisco Peaks have no snow at all and it is so sad to see them. I hate to think of this spring/summer around here.

Feels to me like the energies are getting ready to really cut loose and that perhaps this is the inbetween time from our last big "leap" before the next one. By leap I mean amping up the energy to move this whole ball of wax (ascension) forward.

We certainly do live in *interesting times*.

7. I think you may be on to something!!!

You are right...it started around the new moon! I didn't even realize that the full moon was tonight (I am not the best Jew or witch). The odd thing, is the waxing moon is when energy is supposed to be 'built up!' Like you, I felt 'cut off' and unable to connect (like a bad internet connection)!

Maybe we were 'denied' because we needed to be 'empty' because a deluge is coming. Or maybe we are being reminded of what we have (because we lost it), but I find it odd that so many of us are feeling this way.

10. I'm not sure.

I haven't noticed anything different, except that I can't seem to sleep enough. Then when I do, I have some bizarre, stressful dreams. Some people I haven't seen in a long time (years), and have no more real connection to, were showing up in my dreams, as well. I wondered if they had some random thought about me, and that's why they "showed up."

Wednesday night I got home from work late, about 8:00. I stepped out of my little truck and noticed that the air was unseasonably balmy, and that the homeplace was drenched in moonlight. Even though I'd done a 12.5 hour day (parent conferences)and was tired, I stood out in the middle of the driveway for several minutes soaking in the moonlight. It was refreshing, and I suddenly felt less tired.

Yesterday afternoon, the huge full moon rose an hour before dark. I was on my way home, then out doing barn chores, with it hanging in the air. I could feel the presence looking down on me, even when I went back into the house. I only bring this up because I tend to be a "sun person," responding to the presence of the sun more than the moon, but I seemed to be more sensitive the last week or so.

I've been so busy with the mundane that I've neglected "tuning in," so to speak, recently. This thread is a reminder to "reconnect!"

9. Hi all,

I regret to hear about some of your pains during this time.

Mine - truly from the new moon to now - has been one of almost the opposite feeling. I'm sooooo connected to Spirit that I feel I'm walking with Grace every step that I take. I drew the Fool-Child on the new moon and have lived that blessing for the past two weeks. I told FreedomAngel on another thread that I just feel optimistic and full of life - something I've not felt for a very, very, very, very long time.

11. I'm feeling it too.

Quite disconnected, feeling like my senses are just not receiving or transmitting information well. My eyes are not seeing ordinary reality comfortably, but seem to want to focus on the "non-ordinary" information that's available instead. For example, I participated in a circle on Saturday in which a woman across from me had a different appearance each time I looked at her. Couldn't tell you what she looks like in physical reality.....The same with my hearing; I'm more easily hearing the energetic undertones of things, and sometimes missing the more ordinary sounds.

This change in my sensing is making me feel like I'm in a cocoon. My work with Spirit has been very me-centered the past few weeks; I just don't seem able to tap into the power I normally do for work with others at this time.

I'd thought it was due to external circumstances. Since the new moon, I finally extricated myself from my corporate job, and am officially unemployed. I felt a noticable "snap," as if a bone had broken, during my departure. I have absolutely no sense of what is coming next, which is very unusual; in fact, I feel absolute nothingness out there.

I woke up today a bit frightened, in truth. The world is deeply swaddled in white, which so represents my feelings. I, too, am swaddled in blankness. I'm so glad you posted this thread, BTA, I feel much better to know I'm not alone in this.

12. I've been in a similar place lately.

I'd just assumed it was due to a particularly stressful time in my work and personal life, but now I wonder...

Lots of strange and unsettling dreams have been part of my life of late--some of them are bad enough to wake me up and leave me sleepless. I've been open on here about a work situation that has finally come to a point where the State's Attorney's office has become involved along with a host of lawyers. What we thought had been been resolved is now under a more intense investigation with gag orders and horrible workplace stress.

I can't BEGIN to tell you how it has impacted on all of us who are dealing with it.

Additionally, my elderly parents are facing a move to a new house that is more accessible for disabled people and we've been in negotiations and legal wrangling with all of that.

With all that going on, I have to admit that finding any sort of peace or tranquility has been impossible.

In a strange sort of way, I take some comfort in knowing that it isn't just me--I'm not the only one struggling to keep my head above water.

I keep thinking "this too shall pass" (Maybe like a kidney stone, but it will pass...)

13. "out of sorts" is putting it mildly

I'm not one to say I have any "abilities," but I have to say in response to your post that I have never felt so bombarded by living. I was ecstatic this morning because I could finally go to work - our son is healthy, I'm healthy. I never thought I'd be so grateful for such a simple thing, but that's where I'm at.

I haven't read the paper, and I haven't been on DU hardly at all. News of any kind floats right through me. When I think about the greater condition of the world, I feel embarassingly apathetic.

Yes: I've felt really challenged by the viruses that are plaguing our son, and I've been exhausted and overextended. Despite all of this, there has been a particular bass/base note of harmony in my life. I've been truly deeply happy each day. Sometimes I'm so full of __ (joy? contentment?) that I think the air around me is vibrating like the invisible sound of a bowl or bell.

So, I'm glad for that. Very. My blessings? They are being counted.

I do think a change is afoot. My husband senses it too.

14. Normally

Normally I don't respond to posts like this because there's just no way of knowing what the connections are, if any. But this past two weeks - actually more like three weeks - have been exceptionally intense psychically for both my wife and me. Intense dreams - frequently disturbing, inexplicable tiredness too. I woke up one morning last week and said to her. "It's as if there's something going on in the world that's effecting us at a psychic level -- something important is happening, but what??? Haven't a clue..."

I never talk like that -- keep that sort of thing reigned in usually. But yes, I feel there's a "turning" of some kind taking place, and it involves all polarities in some way.

Well, that's my useless two cents anyhow - jus' cuz I enjoy this forum, and you guys, a lot.

25. Strange indeed. Unusual restlessness, frustration, expectations,

knowing and not knowing and the past few days unexplained rapid heartbeat...

Santa Ana winds usually gives me uneasy feelings but it is different.

You may be right with the power surge. The being "thwarted" part I felt more as "deliberate hindrance" or something working against, as I posted a few days ago. I have been checking the Global Consciousness Dot a few times the past couple of days, but it does not seem particularly off.

I also have a peculiar feeling sometims that a part of me, or soul energy is up to something while I sleep. It is like I am doing more important and or worthwhile work in a different realm, and I wake up and don't know a thing about it. Maybe it is a crazy dream, wishful thinking or both.

27. Me too

I've definitely been feeling out of sorts for the last couple of weeks, and several people I know have been feeling the same way. I feel anxious and am having trouble sleeping. Plus, I'm tired all the time. And yet, I feel like something is "coming." Trouble is, I don't know if it's good or bad. It's very interesting that so many others are feeling the same way.

29. yes, quite a bit. a few days ago there was a weird crushing sadness...

past few weeks were just weird. several weeks where all was thwarted, if not looking flat out catastrophic, and then everything comes out OK, if not better. it's been a pattern like that since the beginning of this year. from emergency operation of a loved one, to not getting all my classes, and then everything coming out roses. it's been one series after another of roller coaster hills.

this latest one, the scariest 'vibe' yet nothing more than that, no facts to go with, was a few days ago. it involved me going outside smoking late at night, and in the middle of smoking i get this crushing sadness. absolutely crushing. it was like someone near and dear to me, who i couldn't immediately place, was suffering unbearable sadness far, far from me. my first instincts went to my friends that are in the military, some who are in iraq or afghanistan. for some reason the anguish felt like it was occuring around daylight, and well, halfway around the world from me is daylight... it was like this person/s were about to give up the ghost they couldn't cope with the shock and pain, and i was feeling a sympathetic response to 'bear the load' as it were. gave out very urgent prayers of harmony and kindness and haven right then and there. happened for a few nights after, but has noticeably tapered off, to a good 'resolved and coping' feeling. god, i hope nothing tragic has happened, or if so, that it all turned up OK in the end just like the pattern of late.

but, yes, the weirdness is being felt here, too. it's like i'm getting vibes 'blind,' as it were. something big is coming -- and yet, not all that anxious or afraid, like someone is saying "it'll all be OK."

30. Thanks for sharing.

It seems many of us experienced a temporary "blackout." Maybe because something very big is coming and the powers that be needed as many of us to ready. I said before, I feel it is good, but may not seem that way at first, a blessing in disguise.

Other friends, offline, have said they have felt the same the past few weeks. Everyone met this new year with a real feeling of hope, but within a month, people were feeling "out of sorts." However, the veil has been lifted. We are ready to receive what comes our way and help others understand what is happening.

I feel very sad and sensitive and off. A bit like one feels during a divorce and I'm not getting divorced.
