Hey hey hey who wants to interpret another house/self dream?
I'm usually pretty good at these, but this one has me half stumped (I "get" some of it).

Mr. MG and I bought a huge modern house. NOT something I would like in real life, but in the dream I didn't mind it. I never saw the main floor in the dream--only the upstairs. The carpet was light purple (which didn't bother me); everything else was stark white. The master bedroom was large and blinding because it got all the sun. The rest of the upstairs was shadowy. There were four bedrooms, a bathroom, and a sort of indentation with a closet with two sliding doors taking up half of it (the other half was open), all off a large landing (it wasn't a hallway). And there was a big prism-type skylight thing in the middle of the ceiling over the landing. Or maybe there were two.

Anyway, the people who owned the house before left a lot of stuff behind, which they had told us about, but we had no idea it was going to be that much. It was like they had forgotten to take half their stuff. The alcove had a bassinet and a crib in it, and there was a bunch of junk in the closet. I looked in the smallest room, thinking it could be a computer room or an office or something, and found it was completely furnished as a sewing room. The people had left everything behind, including the sewing machine and dressmaker's dummy and work table and everything. I remember thinking we could make a ton of money selling their stuff at a garage sale.

There was more, but I can't remember it.

I'm unclear on the meaning of this dream, although I do like the spiritual/sixth-chakra implications of the second floor, purple and white colors, and sunlight (and the prism skylight).

Have at it! :hi:

1. You asked about Thursday 10/20
right? Here's Elsa's take: (this comes via email)

People are stubborn on Thursday and Friday, to a point that will be probably be comical. With the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune and the Black Moon Lilith all in the fixed signs, most of us are entrenched one way or the other and we're not likely to budge.

On top of that, the Sun is conjunct Saturn in Libra which describes a person stuck due to indecision. Further, if a decision (Libra) has been made, they're going to defend (Saturn) the thing. This is another way to be dug in.

This leaves Pluto in Capricorn (which will only yield to gain an advantage) squaring Uranus in Aries to dislodge people and this explosive energy can do it.

As for dealing with this, having Libra in my charts and Uranus prominent, I always like the idea of bucking the trend and balancing energy. You can be nice when others are mean, optimistic when most are dour; that's one tack. Alternately, hold your line but do be ready to duck something deadly that comes out of left field.

Things ease for the weekend as the Moon moves into mutable sign Virgo. The Moon enjoys fantastic support from Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus as it completes the grand trine in earth. People like to eat with the Moon in an earth sign, but this is also a great time to think (Virgo) about being financially (Taurus) successful (Capricorn).

Monday is stressful as the Moon enters Libra in hard aspect to Uranus and Pluto. She wants decorum and she's not going to get it. Tuesday the Moon conjuncts Saturn and you may want to draw a boundary based on what happened the day before.

Wednesday we have a new Moon in Scorpio that looks pretty sweet to me. The Sun and Moon trine Chiron and Neptune, sensitizing people to the extreme.

I like the potential in this. A trine is an easy aspect and this should play well. To further bolster my supposition, the Moon will be stabilized by Pluto in Capricorn which is pretty much all you could ask for.

Jupiter opposes the Moon which will expand its effects without taking anything away. Most definitely plan to get a seed of some type into the ground at this time because this is is a potent opportunity rather than something run of the mill.

Do you think the dream had something to do with all the things scheduled today? Sounds like a lot of opportunities?
And that is one Fabulous dream!

3. This might be an interesting addendum
Although I'm not sure it has much to do with my dream, it sure adds to the chaos of today!

Last night I sent out a bunch of "nudges" to the literary agents I've queried for my novel. Unless an agent's Web site says not to contact them if you don't hear from them, it's common practice to to check on the status of your query after a certain amount of time has elapsed.

Well, right away I found out that a rejection on my full MS (the last one I still had out there) had been sent at the beginning of September, but I never got it. The agent was kind enough to gently let me down a second time. PLUS two agents replied that they had never gotten my query e-mail in the first place. Now one wants the first chapter and the other wants the first 50 pages!

NOW I'm wondering just how many other agents who never replied to me weren't just ignoring me (although a certain percentage do that if they're not interested) but never received my initial query. And of those, WHAT IF some of them would have liked my stuff enough to read it or even (gasp) represent me?

At least I found out that it was happening (and here I was, thinking Gmail was safe!) and now I can take some time to backtrack and contact all the no-response agents (whether they like it or not :P ) to make sure they got my stuff. Nothing like experiencing Merc retrograde when it isn't Merc retrograde!

Opportunities indeed!

Interesting that you thought of making money off the stuff and that sewing machine has to do with money too...

4. Ooh I hadn't thought of that
Cool site! This might also apply to this particular dream:

"To dream that you are in an empty white room indicates a fresh start. It is like a blank canvas. You want to start life anew." Ain't that the truth!

And "To see the floor in your dream represents your support system and sense of security. You have a firm foundation that you can depend on. The floor in your dream may also symbolize the division between the unconscious and conscious....To dream about the floors of a building represents your level of understanding, awareness or success. The higher floors signify higher accomplishments and achievements." I like that my floor was purple--nice high vibration there--that'd make a good foundation for sure!

5. That was my first thought - a fresh start
a new house - a new you. A house you wouldn't have picked in waking life but you didn't mind because of all the cool features. But all the stuff left behind I'm thinking doesn't necessarily belong to the previous owners but stuff of yours that still needs review with fresh, detached eyes ( - you know what I mean?). I mean everything in the house I'm thinking belongs to you because the house is you. And though unrecognizable as yours, you found worth in some of it. Maybe you're coming to a happy medium about some things that you see were valuable after all, but can easily be set aside now. And some stuff that just needs to go.

I thought it interesting you spent a lot of time in the upper level, though some it shadowy. And all those bedrooms seems like avenues for expansion.

Love your dreams MG. They always seem so rich and fulfilling to me somehow :)

6. Yes! I totally get that!
Prolly was the "old me" who left all that crud behind. (I do sew, interestingly enough, but I haven't made anything in a couple of years.) At least I'm planning on making a buck or two from all that old baggage!

I found it very strange that I didn't "see" the first floor at all. I'm a big house nut in general, so I'd figure I'd manifest an entire house in a dream, just to poke around! I'm not kidding, either--I LOVE creating houses in any medium, even in dreams.

I just remembered another part of my dream--there was a square "hatch" in the ceiling of the closet, into the attic. Not sure where the attic was, if there were skylights over the hallway, but anyway. The hatch door was open and it was totally dark up there. I saw a couple of flies buzzing around and started worrying whether the house had clusterflies (I HATE those things).

7. Clusterflies ,eww, that just gave
me the willies.Stuff in that attic that definitely have to go! I feel like jumping in that dream and clearing them out.

Wow, you do sew!!! Interesting. This dream seems bigger than I first thought. Crazy thought just hit me that you want to see the whole self at once, but not ready for or don't need to see the 1st floor?

9. Same. A fresh start with a "newer" (more modern) feel.
The other family having left their stuff behind could mean a lot of things. That you don't feel you're quite ready to make this new start, or that you can't do it yet without inconveniencing...someone.
