"Shift-it"
So i started my day relatively the same ...readin the news from the Latest page and drinking my coffee. Peeling open my eyeballs and contemplating the day with an inner groan. (my mom is taking me & the kids school shopping, and though we have fun, it makes me feel guilty and i have to listen to her telling me what i can do to be a better mother, look nicer, etc...)
so i realized that my Facebook posts were really depressing, and that i was not feeling very vibrationally uplifted.

Take a breath and SHIFT IT ... as Castenada says, move the assemblage point.

So instead i am focusing on the gratitude that i can spend the day with my mom, sharing my kids, making memories and having lunch.
i send prayers to the earth as i drive over the mountain, sending the love and beauty of the place i live, back into the earth so she can heal herself from the environmental hurt some humans have caused. knowing that appreciation is the highest vibration I can offer, and it leads to LOVE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then i got another idea, too... so we have our little experiment of prayer and compassion and light sending to our 'leaders' & those who need a 'nudge'...wave wednesdays... send when you can anytime you think of it.
how about trying "Shift-it Fridays" where we catch OURSELVES in a negative feedback loop and send ourselves Light! ...and we send light and prayers to that which concerns us and drags us down, and then MOVE forward from there... everytime we catch ourselves, we just
"cancel/clear" and SHIFT
just an idea...gotta run & get ready...:grouphug: let me know what you guys think :)
I kept thinking, I would check-in earlier in the day, but got side-tracked-imagine that..HA! Just wished I'd found this earlier..
Brilliant idea, thanks!
5. I did the same thing!!
Love the bumpersticker, Majick Muffin!!
Hey, FirstLight, I did the same thing you did today! Different situation, but the same thing. Must be in the air.
And you know what, it really is a gift that you have a Mom to take you shopping, kids to help get ready for school, and that all three of you can go to lunch together. Making memories, indeed.
Here's my story. I only have about 10 days before I go back to work for the semester. I finished a renovation on my home, and while there are a few things left to do, I can put away all the things I took out of the cabinets, etc. There are boxes and boxes around here and they need to find their way to the new cabinetry.
But ugh, how I didn't want to do it. I did the same thing you did: read the news from the Breaking News page and I wasted time until 11:30!!
Then I decided to change my attitude.
I decided I would put away all things on the surfaces: tables, counters, etc. I set the timer for 30" for each surface. Every 60 minutes, I could take a break and read a book for 15 minutes.
I also took pictures of "Before" and "After" so I could look at my accomplishment.
Another idea hit me: for every counter, desktop, or table I cleaned up, I wrote out the three top reasons the area was cluttered. Under that, I wrote out what I could do to eliminate those causes. For example, if I found receipts on the table, I said I could start a big box where I could drop all receipts. After a year, I could throw those receipts away.
I hit on lots of ideas for keeping clutter to a minimum.
At the end of the day, I was very pleased to look through some of my rooms and see clear, clean surfaces!
7. yay!
that sounds like a great idea!
I am still in the 'clean the entire house before school starts' -mode too....
but i stalled when i got sick last week, and fell back inot some bad physical habits (staying up too late, smoking, beer, you know the drill)
I like the timer idea...that's a great way to break it up... i am gonna try it with the radio on... three songs, break, then another few songs..etc. got today & tomorrow to make a big dent.
:bouce: congrats on your accomplishment! :hug: :bounce:
6. it totally worked!
yesterday was easy, fun and went fast and smooth.
we got everything the kids needed for school, and had a nice lunch at Johnny Rockets...even had fun with my mom picking songs on the jukebox.
and i still got home in time for an afternoon nap ;)
she took one of the kids for the weekend, and now i can clean the rest of my house easier...
so now i guess i get to remind myself when i get negative to just "shift it!"
8. Thought of your shift again today!
I was in a funky place with frustrating tasks... So I used it again...I had to KEEP using it after a few minutes...haha!
Pluto has given me lots of power, but I have really felt stuck in the last few days...
