Hey, everyone: If you were me and you got this horoscope...
Edited on Tue Nov-22-05 08:38 PM by BlueIris
what would you do?

(It's from FreeWillAstrology.com)

"In ancient Greek myth, Prometheus stole the gods' fire and bequeathed it to human beings, allowing them to cook, stay warm when the weather was cold, and make tools and bricks and pottery. According to my reading of the astrological omens, a Prometheus-like influence is now hovering at the peripheries of your world, angling to provide you with a boon that's pretty damn good, even if it isn't as monumental as fire. There's a catch, however. This benefactor will not be able to bestow the gift unless you aggressively ask for it and unless you are alert for its arrival from an unexpected direction."

Where would you look for this unexpected gift? Seriously. Especially if you had few resources with which to pursue the suggested aggressive action?

1. just means be attuned to any sudden opportunities.
because otherwise it's impossible to be prepared for the unexpected.

so don't go drifting through life on auto-pilot as much as we normally do, and that "weird coincidence" may mean more than a coincidence. that's about all that can be had from this. until that trigger is fulfilled there's nothing to do but wait. be aware, but still only wait.

2. Some thoughts...
You said, "...if you had few resources with which to pursue the suggested aggressive action?" However, that is not what the horoscope said. It said, "...unless you aggressively ask for it..." So, it would seem the only "resources" you need are tenacity, strength, and willingness.

The idea of "a blessing in disguise" pops in my head. Perhaps, it is a matter of recognizing the 'blessing' in spite of the disguise. So, an "unexpected" gift is one you are not expecting, but will you recognize it as a 'gift' or pass it over because it doesn't have a "bow and wrapping paper?"

Remember the last part of this prayer...

Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

I hope it is a great gift...perhaps it is already there?!

3. Good points.
It's always nice to remember the serenity prayer in confusing moments like this.
