Shapeshifting in dream(s)?

Last night for the first time in a while I had a great night of sleep. :D I had a nice but weird dream and at the end of the dream the main character (a love intrest) shape shifted from someone I didn't know in real life to someone I know in my life. So why would this person shapeshift into another person I know in reality? :shrug:

1. Could signify something about that person in RL, or his/her role

in your real life world. My first guess is that whatever the love interest meant to your in the dream is either a) what you want the RL figure to be to you or b) just the closest approximation of what that RL figure does mean to you. This is not to say that your have romantic feelings for the person in RL, necessarily. Maybe there is something that the love interest figure did in the dream that simply reminds you of that RL person, or the way you interact with that individual.

2. I see

Cause in the dream it was someone I've never seen before for basically the whole time. In the dream this girl I knew in high school protrayed this person's sister and she was talking about the person as they were when they shapeshiffted. Than in the dream at the very end I realized I was over half an hour late in class (I was caught up in being with the other guy before the shapeshiffting) and than I went to tell the guy I was leaving and he changed to this person I know in real life. :shrug: But thanks for your comments. Definietly seems plausable.
