My girl has a co-worker who lost her 10-mo-old baby boy in a fire when her house burned down 2 days ago. She tried to save the child, but couldn't.

The Red Cross is doing what they can...

I know there is nothing you or we can do, but I implore all of ASAH to send out supportive white light and healing to "K" and her family. God Bless all of you. In time, we hope she can help her to get back on her feet.

I cannot imagine the grief K must feel. Sometimes horrible things happen and as much as we "know" everything happens for a reason, something like this seems to blow that theory all to heck. 42. The Red Cross found her a furnished house she can live in for a while

Other than that, churches and people are donating stuff and money plentiful. Yet, of course, she is devastated and is trying to put one foot in front of the other. Not much is known. She still has a part-time job technically. I'll keep you updated.

45. Just got back from the memorial service

K is surrounded by loving family, friends, and coworkers and of course is devastated. Doing as well as can be expected. Using next week to regroup. She hopes to be back at work week after next. I'm sure all of your prayers have helped uplift her. Thank you all for your thoughts.
