ricochetastroman - Miss depth astrology on the planet and politics
I liked the intense conversation a month ago - I come back looking for astrology and there is so little and even your threads sink
Even when three years ago there was infighting - at least it was something to stir the soul
I like deep, deep conversation on this
Mundane astrology on the world, the globe, high profile individuals and sometimes the peasants

I know you do that every day with individuals
I like the back and forth

I watch Al Gore, Howard Dean and see the betrayal and lies told about each of them and for some reason that crap stuck

anyway - this is my way of stirring the pot
want to talk about astrology

you pick the topic - let's stir some conversation up

1. I'm more than glad to stir the pot, you know me.
I'm currently inundated with the book - very busy editing. And, I have so many ideas about next month's newsletter; I'm trying to decide. I'm tired of talking about Pluto. Even though it's THE story.

Remember, tomorrow a.m., Saturn reenters Libra for good and faces off with Uranus, Jupiter, and PL. This is why I foresaw the
possible "capping" of the well weeks ago. The true test will be around the 30th when MARS gets involved by entering Libra itself.

If it holds then, that's a VERY GOOD sign.

more later....

2. how does Saturn and libra have anything to do with the bp flood and other
Edited on Tue Jul-20-10 04:19 PM by 2Design
Saturn = stability or totally break down (bridges, chinese boards in houses, rivers, dams and everything built during the WPA is due to crash since it has not been taken care of

Libra = balance (scales) or wishy washy like obama - libra to me is negotiation but not necessarily for the good of the whole although they like to think so

Saturn might be interesting to talk about as it goes into Libra - I think of these people as the orators, they say balance but to me it is like having a centrist president who goes right to try to include everyone even though it is hopeless and screws those on the left in doing so - the health care plan is useless to most of us because it is just plain too expensive

The insurance companies are raising rates - just like utilities and gas companies (as we cut back to save money) they want same income so they raise prices - so now we have less but pay more

Mars always feels like a hit and run - accidents or fights or some aggressive behavior from others.

Uranus is suppose to be explosive but I have not had a handle or differentiation on this energy

Jupiter = expansion = expanded war, obseity, and luck for Wall street, bankers, and realtors while screwing the public

What houses are these in or are we ignoring that?
Do we have a chart?
What is obama chart?
Congress chart?
Republican chart?

The peasants (us) chart?

The cap to me just seems to be a bandaid and will force things to flow out elsewhere since they are coming up from way inside the earth via a pipe that was not the quality it was suppose to be

For me personally - earlier today was overwhelming sadness and broken heart and have no idea what sets this off - hormones changed years ago - I went back to bed and just ran reikii energy but its as if Venus and Moon are set off some how - not sure - nothing is clear when I look at me - easier to look at others charts and the major transits

3. Saturn (or rather, its glaring absence) applies to the cataclysm in the gulf in regards to
Edited on Wed Jul-21-10 11:27 AM by stellanoir
the gross negligence, malfeasance, incompetence, mechanical failures, irresponsibility, obfuscation, and apparent lack of accountability, that we've witnessed and had to endure energetically though by no means to the degree those residing in the region have had to contend (understatement). Saturn's ingress into Libra could possibly mollify these circumstances to some extent especially with the pending opposition to Uranus and square to Pluto.

Pluto relates far more to the oil and the overt abuse of power and assorted "fuelishness." Near the Solar Apex, it's only goosing our need to transform our way of life if we hope to grow and prosper. No biggie (joke.)

This would take volumes to address but suffice it to say (for now) that my heartfelt wish is that these bozos will no longer get away with their overt selfishness, short sightedness, and plunder for much longer.

After all, Gaia *did* release flatulence (methane bubble) in their & our general direction. For those unfamiliar with that reference, it's a Monty Pythonism. She didn't do so without egregious provocation for sure.

The description of Obama as "wishy washy" doesn't really resonate with me as he doesn't have Mars in Libra (or anything else in that sign for that matter). His Mars is in Virgo which is oft misunderstood. It is precise yet is at times prone to getting absorbed in complexities. Thus the plethora of misunderstandings amongst the simpletons.

Sorry but speaking of simplistic, your assessment of Mars is ridiculously so. IMHO

A centered Mars is aware of the repercussions of its volition and has the sense that one has something reverently unique to contribute to the world sans hubris or inflation. It only resorts to anger, violence, and rage when it wishes to purge itself of inappropriate violations or extraneous projections.

Uranus can bring forth enlightenment and breakthroughs in consciousness, and tremendous ingenuity. Alas it can also create breakdowns.

Jupiter hovering in the early degrees of Aries and retrograding back into Pisces over the next several months over the degrees of the Saturn/Uranus opposition should not only soothe much of the extremism that we now see but also can neutralize the schism between selfishness and selfishness. It can allow us to be ourselves and maintain good nature in doing so. Jupiter in Aries can inspire droves of really astute trouble shooters with eagle eyes and marksman's aim.

The houses of the transits of these planets would depend upon the individual charts.

To whom you are referring as "we" in terms of a chart is not clear. If you're talking about this forum, you can take the data from the time and date Skinner kindly created this forum and cast a chart. He more than likely created it in the D.C. area.

There has been speculation about Obama's birth time but most concur on an Aquarius rising as far as I know.

I'm not going to get into Congress' chart or the chart of the RNC right now.

When you are a self described peasant maybe be mindful of the limitations of relegating yourself to the realm of a self defeating prophesy especially in these times.

You may want to buff your lens when looking at these influences.

Happy Saturn in Libra. May it help us all refine the mirrors through which we see ourselves.

Kindly pardon me for chiming in but I was compelled to clarify to some extent.

peace

> how does Saturn and libra have anything to do with the bp flood and other
Saturn is the planet that has been trying to cap the well and will also try to affect legislation so it won't happen again.
The well, as Stella put it well, is the passing of gas from the Pluto decay. A very long story, and one that is symbolic and won't go away anytime soon. As has been said, THE issue is how long we're going to allow big money to own us and Washington.

>Saturn = stability or totally break down (bridges, chinese boards in houses, rivers, dams and everything built during the WPA is >due to crash since it has not been taken care of

Saturn has nothing to do with break down - all of your references are to Pluto, the one who finds and replaces rot or extinguishes.
Saturn does maintain and makes sure, if it's not allowed to operate effectively, the PL decay spreads.

>Libra = balance (scales) or wishy washy like obama - libra to me is negotiation but not necessarily for the good of the whole although they like to think so
Obama is wishy-washy due to his Moon in Gemini right on the nadir, very changeable
"although they like to thing so", I'm not sure who you mean by "they", but that statement is Leonine, IMHO

>Saturn might be interesting to talk about as it goes into Libra -
Saturn will be fabulous in Libra; remember it's a Saturn return for USA when it gets to 14 in about a year. For me too.
It's not that it's good or bad. It's Saturn, and Saturn's aim is to MAKE SURE everything works properly.

>I think of these people as the orators,
I don't know whom you speak of

>they say balance but to me it is like having a centrist president who goes right to try to include everyone even though it is >hopeless and screws those on the left in doing so - the health care plan is useless to most of us because it is just plain too >expensive
Again, his wishy-washy Moon in Gemini, desire for approval (Leo) and his Tsquare to Neptoon in the ninth house of philosophical stance. Remember, he can't do it all himself; he has the imposible task of dealing with the Grand Ole Obstructionists.

>The insurance companies are raising rates -
Pluto

>just like utilities and gas companies (as we cut back to save money) they want same income so they raise prices - so now we have >less but pay more
The purposes of power
1. to keep it
2. to get more of it
Pluto

>Mars always feels like a hit and run - accidents or fights or some aggressive behavior from others.
Mars is unconsciously an instigator AND NEEDS TO BE SO. This does not condone violence, Mars comes by because THINGS NEED TO HAPPEN. ACTION, that is Mars. It depends upon the how the table is set and with what AS Mars arrives.

>Uranus is suppose to be explosive but I have not had a handle or differentiation on this energy
Uranus CAN be explosive but is mainly explosive to bodies that denied change for too long and have become rigid. Uranus is the renewer.

>Jupiter = expansion = expanded war, obseity, and luck for Wall street, bankers, and realtors while screwing the public
I don't see that. Jupiter is free-wheeling growth that can represent excess or good healthy growth. All of these "planets" depend on how WE use the energies.

>What houses are these in or are we ignoring that?
Huge time-consuming question - it depends upon what chart we are referring to.

>Do we have a chart?
Of what?

>What is obama chart?
His chart is just like you see with him. Intelligent, extremely idealistic, "home" oriented, hard-working, brilliant and somewhat fickle

>Congress chart?
I have no idea where to get that chart from.

>Republican chart?
I'm close on finding one, there are many.

>The peasants (us) chart?
A very dangerous phrase - I don't know of any.

>The cap to me just seems to be a bandaid and will force things to flow out elsewhere since they are coming up from way inside the >earth via a pipe that was not the quality it was suppose to be
The cap will stand its test 7/30-8/5 as Saturn will have had time to work. I have no idea if it will hold or not. If it gets thru this period, that's really a good sign. But, that is no guarantee either. The problem is PL, the lack of integrity within the systems it is affecting. The "Gulf Leak" is just one symptom.

Best of luck to you. :hi:

From the time/date of the opening gavel of the present congress might be a good place to start it.

7. I will use *** to indicate my parts now
Oh Good you were here

> how does Saturn and libra have anything to do with the bp flood and other
Saturn is the planet that has been trying to cap the well and will also try to affect legislation so it won't happen again.
The well, as Stella put it well, is the passing of gas from the Pluto decay. A very long story, and one that is symbolic and won't go away anytime soon. As has been said, THE issue is how long we're going to allow big money to own us and Washington.
*** I'll take your word for it but the images aren't flowing to me on this one

>Saturn = stability or totally break down (bridges, chinese boards in houses, rivers, dams and everything built during the WPA is >due to crash since it has not been taken care of

Saturn has nothing to do with break down - all of your references are to Pluto, the one who finds and replaces rot or extinguishes.
Saturn does maintain and makes sure, if it's not allowed to operate effectively, the PL decay spreads.
*** I think of saturn as bones - if they weren't feed properly they are brittle and break - if taken care of it is a good structure

*** libras

>Saturn might be interesting to talk about as it goes into Libra -
Saturn will be fabulous in Libra; remember it's a Saturn return for USA when it gets to 14 in about a year. For me too.
It's not that it's good or bad. It's Saturn, and Saturn's aim is to MAKE SURE everything works properly.
*** so you like saturn in libra - tell us more why so - what are the negative manifestations

>I think of these people as the orators,
I don't know whom you speak of
*** Libras

>they say balance but to me it is like having a centrist president who goes right to try to include everyone even though it is >hopeless and screws those on the left in doing so - the health care plan is useless to most of us because it is just plain too >expensive
Again, his wishy-washy Moon in Gemini, desire for approval (Leo) and his Tsquare to Neptoon in the ninth house of philosophical stance. Remember, he can't do it all himself; he has the imposible task of dealing with the Grand Ole Obstructionists.
*** no he can't do it himself but bush who had less support seemed to be able to twist dems arms (blackmail maybe or threats) he did not give an inch on really crappy stuff - obama goes into negotiation giving it all away before he even gets to the table

>The insurance companies are raising rates -
Pluto
*** ok

>just like utilities and gas companies (as we cut back to save money) they want same income so they raise prices - so now we have >less but pay more
The purposes of power
1. to keep it
2. to get more of it
Pluto
*** ok I can see pluto for power here just didn't think to correlate them

>Mars always feels like a hit and run - accidents or fights or some aggressive behavior from others.
Mars is unconsciously an instigator AND NEEDS TO BE SO. This does not condone violence, Mars comes by because THINGS NEED TO HAPPEN. ACTION, that is Mars. It depends upon the how the table is set and with what AS Mars arrives.
*** Mars is an instigator - right - the negative side is what I said and the positive side is what you said :)

>Uranus is suppose to be explosive but I have not had a handle or differentiation on this energy
Uranus CAN be explosive but is mainly explosive to bodies that denied change for too long and have become rigid. Uranus is the renewer.
*** Here I was thinking of the tarot card that some say is like uranus where it tears things down so they can rise up anew

>Jupiter = expansion = expanded war, obseity, and luck for Wall street, bankers, and realtors while screwing the public
I don't see that. Jupiter is free-wheeling growth that can represent excess or good healthy growth. All of these "planets" depend on how WE use the energies.
*** most books I have read Steven Forester from NC is one, talk about jupiter as expansion or luck (negative side is weight gain) - I took the leap into all the things that expanded negatively (the energy not being used in a positive way)

>What houses are these in or are we ignoring that?
Huge time-consuming question - it depends upon what chart we are referring to.
*** houses of usa chart or does it not matter

>Do we have a chart?
Of what?
*** usa

>What is obama chart?
His chart is just like you see with him. Intelligent, extremely idealistic, "home" oriented, hard-working, brilliant and somewhat fickle

>Congress chart?
I have no idea where to get that chart from.
*** I would have thought there would be one and no I don't know where I would get it either

>Republican chart?
I'm close on finding one, there are many.
*** good

>The peasants (us) chart?
A very dangerous phrase - I don't know of any.
*** ok poor choice of words - Bush said his base were the HAVES and the HAVEs more (10-20% of the population) the rest 80% is us
Not sure if there would be a chart for us - I guess it would really be when the earth and life was born into the form of the human and even that would be questionable
