Hi all.....

Here I sit , late at night, yearning for someone to talk to. I'm going to have a really rough week, and am hoping for some support from anyone so inclined. Maybe we can set up a time on the ASAH chat room one day soon. I've finally found a rescue group that is willing to take my baby boy Flurry, and foster him til they find a new forever home for him. He will be leaving me this coming Thursday, and he is going to leave an empty hole in my heart and home. I'm not getting better health wise and he needs immediate medical attention that I cannot afford. I'm doing this out of love for him, but will be lost without him. Keep me in your prayers.....that I have the strength to get though this with my sanity. He's known no home or Mommy other than me for 7 years, wonderful years and wonderful memories. :cry: I hope that I can take comfort knowing that he will have a new family, with kids and other Bichons to play with him. My back is getting so bad, I can hardly walk because of nerve damage to my legs. I think I'm going to see a neurologist soon, because the orthopedic Dr. said there was nothing he could do for me. The stress over this has caused me to relapse back to the cigarettes. I bought a pack today, one day short of 10 weeks smoke free. I hope to stop again after I get through this week. LUV you guys!

It would break anyone's heart! I can't imagine having to give up my pets.

Don't smoke, please. I quit March 17, and I know what you are going through. Your health will improve if you stay away from the cigarettes. I am not the best example in the world, because I have quit four times in four years. But the cold laser therapy is working for me. Find a way to say no to cigarettes.

You've given Flurry a loving home and are doing the best thing you can for him. I'm sure Flurry will do fine...it's amazing how adaptable they are. You're right...just imagine him playing with other doggies and kids.

I know how painful it is to give up Flurry. I had to do the same with my Peggy a few years ago. Even though I knew he was going to a beautiful new home it still hurts. I'm so proud of you because you are doing what's best for him and you're taking care of yourself as best as you can. I believe in you that you'll quit again and quite soon. :pals:

I so feel for you. I myself have been resisting the idea of having to let my dogs go to a new home, and I can only imagine how heart breaking it is for you. I wish I can wave a magic wand and make your health issues go away, too.

You know, so many people talk about us healing ourselves and yet there are times when life just takes the wind out of our sails and we need to BE healed...I am praying that comes easily and quickly to YOU. :hug:

I know what it's like to have physical stuff that makes you unable to do the simplest tasks, and there is no way to explain the helplessness that comes with that... and yet we both know that you *will* walk easily again, you *will* have a chance to experience joy again...it just feels like crap when you are in the thick of it!
...and your kitty will be fine, maybe you will get to visit him again soon, even in dreams...he's close to your heart & soul.

11. Aw JA, I'm so sorry

Flurry is going to be okay, and you'll get through this, but go ahead and feel what you're feeling for him. Yes, his new foster family will be able to take care of him and get him the medical attention he needs, but it doesn't make the separation any easier for you.

I'm sending you energy, love and light to surround you. I pray the neurologist can help you, and I pray you are able to get through this without smoking.

15. JA, I took you with me to Unity yesterday in spirit

I filled out the prayer request at the begining of the servce, and held it in my hands through the songs, the meditation, and the message...all the while sending you the love & light that I was surrounded in. :)
