I feel like the Eclipse was pretty Anti-Climatic...
Did anyone have any HUGE revelations or events take place?
Maybe I am being cynical, but Mr. Right did NOT walk into my life, nor did I get a job, or anything else equaly earth shattering.

Now I am not saying I am upset or anything...just perplexed. I am still glad and excited with the shift in energies since the new year...but yesterday got a lot of hype and I can't help but feel a *little* gypped

what about you ...?

1. Nothing huge happened here
but I wasn't expecting it to. I was just relieved to feel the blockage of Merc ret dissipating as it went direct again--that was really messing up my head, especially my creativity.

I kind of just saw the eclipse/Mercury going direct as a shift into first gear after a full stop, and we rollin' now. If that makes any sense. :D

2. I think this is longer-term...
this eclipse kicks off the next 6 months. So, maybe more time is needed for things to manifest. :hi:

http://www.thecosmicpath.com/moon-report/

Some solar eclipses propel us forward as if we’ve been shot from a cannon. This one will work a bit more methodically. We are setting paving stones out in front of us step by step by step. Our hearts are choosing the nature, shape, size and direction of the stones. Our minds are stirring up quite a bit of talk to determine who’s walking along with us and how we’ll proceed. The next Saturn/Pluto square, at the end of the month, will push that discussion into clarity and action. By the end of June, we will pause in our journey and take in where it’s leading us.

4. I'm feeling a little disappointed today....

I think because I actually "succeeded" in doing Win's compound elemental exercise yesterday (which was very exciting to "feel" it), I was hoping for magickal dreams or obvious results or something.

I know, I know....Divine Time. I'm certainly used to that and have largely given up on expecting anything. No expectations for the most part, just visualizing, feeling, and setting intentions, doing the work, then releasing and going with the flow.

If anything significant does manifest soon, I'll share. I guess I was hoping, more than I realized, for a sign or confirmation of....something.

:)

6. I didn't expect anything earth-shattering to happen overnight
and given what happened in advance, in Haiti, I'm simply relieved nothing more has happened in an earth-shattering way.

As others have said, I think it's more subtle...changes and shifts come from the deep and work their way up. And certainly what we are witnessing in Haiti is showing the way. Governments around the world -- including our own -- racing to help the victims. So unlike Katrina, when W turned away offers of help and left people to die, and republicans had the unimitigated hatred and gall to say it was a good thing because it 'cleaned up' the ghettos of NO.

On a personal level, I was planning to do a special meditation last night to prepare for a big "what the new moon promises the full moon delivers." But instead, about 2 minutes before my shift was to end I got an irate idiot caller and was stuck for almost an extra hour. So instead of a meditation when I got home, I had a little sherry and fell into a nice, deep, dreamful comatose.

Doesn't the effect last 5 days on either side of the event? I am preparing a proposal this weekend to send out Monday ... a project I have been nursing along for the past two years and will find out this week (hopefully!) if the org on the receiving end wants to move forward with this. If they do, you will all hear loud shrieks of hysterical joy filling the air over Chicagoland... that will be me.

And my husband's art received a Best in Show last night, 3 other pieces submitted received honorable mention and he sold a piece. So he's having a good time with this too.

15. Take heart; in my limited experience, eclipses can take a while to "kick in."
From what I've seen, it can take as long as three months for an eclipse's influence to manifest in your life. And at least one article we've had posted here mentioned that this eclipse is a little more muted in terms of influence (perhaps because of the Capricorn factor).

My own meditation told me that this eclipse is connected with a new friendship for me, (appropriate as it fell in my natal third house of friendship) but that I won't meet this person until sometime in May.

So...patience?

16. Our final paperwork for the Making Home Affordable program arrived on Thursday
I don't know if this could be counted as part of the eclipse, but the paperwork we've been waiting almost a year for is finally here.

It only took Senator Murray's office intervening as well, but we're signing it and sending it off on Tuesday or Wednesday overnight.

For us, this is huge. (And, yeah, considering the sheer numbers of people who either got turned down or never got the paperwork at all, I joked about how we'd better take pictures; this is as rare as a unicorn sighting!)

20. push...push...push
I am such a goat, I but heads with life and keep butting until things go MY way. bad habit
of course i am speaking of my romantic life

right after the new year, the recent exBF opened up communications again and our 'friendship' is better than ever. He still seems to be dealing with the old contract with his previous GF, so I am trying to stay aloof and still be appreciative of our ability to re-work our OWN contract and be friends. It's sad, because we have SO much affinity, so much communication, common interests, and still that attraction...BUT it just isn't 'the right time' or whatever, maybe it will never be
sooo ...after a few lunches over the past 2 weeks we actually had a quasi-date evening, went out last nght and also ended up with the gang at the local hangouts...
I was *just* buzzed enough to tell him lots of things I hadn't, one of which is that I knew he had these old contracts hanging around with the other GF, and that until HE decided to shift or change them, I was going to have to be okay with this friendship dance. At least we are both being open and honest about it i guess. There are artsy things that I asked him if she was going to with him and he said "oh no, she has no interest in that" I mention I would love to go to the next event, and he lights up and says yeah! He is also continuing with the meditation series I have been working, he went up to level 2 and I'm in level 3, so we are holding eachother to that integrity too, and able to cheer eachother on with the work...
so wtf?
I took him home and we just sat on the couch for the longest time, holding... no words, nothing else ...and then I went home

argh. I want to find someone who I have all these wonderful sharing and special things with, who is actually emotionally AVAILABLE
maybe it IS him...maybe not...
(I heard a statistic last week that about 3/4 of women are still holding on to an old relationship they have built into a fantasy...so i am trying really hard NOT to do that, keep my "reality" goggles on!)

By looking at the eclipse, I suppose the relationship stuff is shifting as part of this energy
and from what ohers are saying, this could take months or a year to unfold.

hmmmm....just thinking aloud...

22. First Light, honey, try to be patient and don't rush this relationship.
I know you are yearning for intimacy with a loved one, and that's understandable, but--and I hope this doesn't sound trite, maybe you need to take time to let this develop on its own. In the imortal words of Percy Sledge, "take time to know him." Percy actually said "her," but the meaning is the same. I hope you get everything you want and wish you all the best.

25. pisces
which means he flip flops and lives in dreams... lol

(to all who replied..)

I dunno...just allowing him to be a friend and trying to honor our creativity and working together to make things happen in the writing /design stuff... because our creative connection s so strong, it helps to be able to just *express*...maybe that is where my heart gets tripped up because creativity is such an emptional thing for me, and so rare that i share it...

whatever, just trying to focus on my WORK and let him do what he's gotta do. He is over at the GF's house last night & today...but he still texts me and says he is planning on getting into the assignment and email work with me online by this afternoon...

I know release and relax is the best bet...(only here can i really let my angst show, so please know that I'm not swooning all the time over this...)

lol...and cappies don't really swoon anyway ;)

27. Per Yasmin Boland
From my manifestation thread...

PISCES
THE NEW MOON ECLIPSE IS TAKING PLACE IN YOUR 11TH HOUSE - YOUR FRIENDS ZONE

What it means: It's all about ... Your friends, social networks (and your hopes and dreams)

Moon Meditation: The friendly people find the friendly people every time

There are two main focuses for you this month. The first is on your hopes and dreams. It's said that when the Sun moves through your 11th house-as it's doing now-your powers of wishing are supercharged. In other words, be extra careful what you wish for now, because you might get it. The other focus for this month will be your friends and the networks and groups you belong to. How confident do you feel about your place within those groups? Are your needs being met and if they're not, what can you do about it? New friends are extra likely to come into your life now.

New Moon Ritual: Call a friend you haven't seen in too long

24. It sounds like you already have the insight you need...
and as I well know (goats unite!) the hardest part is acting on it, and allowing yourself to break free of old patterns and trusting that it will be all right; knowing that whatever happens will be what is meant to be, and so detaching somewhat from outcomes and letting things evolve. Aargh! I hate this also because I always want to KNOW, and yet, when I'm able to let go a bit, it has served me well. :)

It sounds like he has real feelings for you, and his turnaround in his actions might be because you have taken a different approach to this new phase of your relationship. Do you think this fits? The thing I always had a hard time with is, you can have feelings for someone and yet want different things. I would just keep in mind that he may not be ready for what you want, even though he really cares about you. But if you let it be easy, you may give him the time and space he needs to get on the same page.

I hope for good things for you and no more heartaches; I know you will find the one, whether it is now or down the road. You have so much love to give! Keep the faith, and stay strong.

when you find yourself in any of these modes; stop. Use the 3/4/5 method...breathe in three counts, hold it four counts, breathe out five counts...

If I even sort of understand, we are only CO creators

Have fun with your relationship. You only have now.

28. I am now determined to fix the things that I have broken
or to move on from that which I cannot fix. This from a standstill near Christmas day.

This is significant to me. I'm doing lots of energetic work, and it's going very well. The things I can't change? I showed up at this year's NAMM (musical instrument) show last week at the Anaheim convention center. It's been six years since I've been there, and even though everyone remembers my (alcoholic and now, "extreme" bipolarity-based) upheaval in such circles (and forever and ever on the internet) and a couple persons even mocked me to my face about it, I still showed up (it was difficult, quite) and had a very good time. It was for me mostly about people and not spending all that time on the equipment (which I normally do). Odd. I'd planned to spend all of that time on the gear, and barely spent any.

I've been shunned (for being doubly mentally ill; I don't know how to take responsibility for my behaviour prior to diagnosis and treatment) but I'm determined to make it work. This is my passion, my heart center, and even though there are some who are determined that I NOT have any success in this field (and are afraid of any success of my own, eclipsing theirs), I'm in it for the long haul.

Please pray that all of these problems may be righted for the greatest good for all involved. Here's hoping that your new year is most excellent, FirstLight!

32. Here's to new beginnings FWWM!
Patience is what is needed for you-- it will take time for people to see you as you are now. Just keep being you and release attachment to outcome involving other's response. You really have no control over that. Focus on what you do have control of and take as much enjoyment from your endeavors as you can.

Best of luck and good cheer.
