Along with manifesting a brand new free printer and borrowed videocam, my nightmarish schedule is easing. Last night at work training they unexpectedly brought down the mainframe for maintenance, so we ended a half hour early and I got to bed a little earlier than I'd expected. This is the first evening class they've done, so I'm hoping that happens again tonight! The lab is 45 minutes closer than I feared (turns out there are 2 branches to the hospital) so I got a little extra sleep this am too, and we got through lab early so I got home at my normal time. And it turns out Saturday's lab will be pm only, not all day.

Anywho, I'd just finished lunch when the dogs started barking; someone was parked in my drive. It was the same woman who'd stopped by to ask about my place about 6 weeks ago. Apparently, they called the realtor a month ago and nobody ever got back to them. More evidence supporting sabotage by the realtor! I asked her to send me an email confirming that they'd called and had no call back, let her know the contract expires in a few months and I'll knock $10K off the price without the realtor involved. Her eyes lit up. I'm thinking this may be the future keepers of Jade Hill Farm. I may have already found the physical Magical Thyme Farm on realtor.com. Time will tell...

Me likey. Yep, things are speeding up. I can feel it. Good feeling about the potential buyer for Jade Hill. And congrats on finding Magical Thyme! Got a linkie? I LOVE to peruse property even when I'm not in the market for a new place.

Oh, check out this bit of "be careful what you wish for" manifestation on my part : Mr. MG has gone on a driving vacation with an old friend who's visiting from Brazil. The guy is a HUGE country music fan (Mr. MG, not so much) so they went to Nashville (also to see the Titans play, as it's the guy's favorite American football team). It's very nice of Mr. MG to take his friend to the best city for his interests, but I was really worried about how much it was going to cost. I asked the angels to please make sure Mr. MG doesn't spend every dime in our checking account.

What did I get? A phone call from Mr. MG yesterday--he lost the bank card. I had to call the bank and put a block on BOTH our cards, in anticipation that it was stolen. Yeah, Mr. MG isn't going to be spending all the money in the checking account; instead he's going to run up the balance on our CREDIT CARD!


The good news is that while I was on the phone with the bank, Mr. MG called and said he realized he had left it at a restaurant. He called them and they're mailing the card home, so we don't have to cancel our cards outright and get new ones or anything (I can remove the block as soon as I receive his card in the mail), but for the rest of the trip Mr. MG is going to be spending money on the 10.99% interest card....Aggghhhh....

However, also a good manifestation--our kitchen faucet is leaking and Mr. MG didn't have time to fix it before he left. I was really worried that I'd have to stop using the kitchen sink while he's gone, as the leak started getting pretty severe...and then, at the height of my worrying, the leak just...stopped. The sink works fine. I realize that it will likely start up again till it's fixed properly, but I have a feeling it's going to stay dry till Mr. MG gets back home.

new kitten will come by early Oct
and the BF is getting warmer, too...
