Pad Thai: "Lily is dissin’ me and it isn’t fair." (w/photos)

That’s my sister and she hates me! Why even to cuddle and sleep next to her I have to wait till she’s asleep and creep under the covers and hide.



If she sees me she always looks at me as if I were a very big dump in the litter box. Like I’m something disgusting!



She doesn’t give me a chance! And when we’re outside I complain because she gets to go free and I don’t. I would much rather be next to her hunting and defending our turf!



I’m just a sweet Siamese going about my business trying to be a good kitty and hunting chicken in the kitchen and treats in the living room. Why doesn’t Lily realize, I just want to play!

I'm sweet to my Mommy too! I always jump up on the window and meow at my Mommy when I see her car. Sure I'm a bit spirited but I try to be nice to Lily too. This morning I put a sparkly ball right where she likes to sleep on the sofa

Lily got along fine with the 2 older male cats I had when I first got her as a kitten. She played with them all the time. She did chase them off the bed though. Then my brother got this cat named Corkie. He was a young cat who liked to tease Lily all the time and she hated him more than she does Pad Thai.

I brought her to an apartment where life was pretty quiet for a few years, just her and me and I think she liked it that way. Then this poor Siamese cat started making the rounds at the office. Two different people adopted him and both wanted to sell him after a few months. Well, you know who stepped in.

When Pad Thai came to live with me he was still not quite full grown at 5 months. Lily was so mean to him she scared him, even though he mostly stayed in the bathroom (in a one room apartment I had no separate room to put him in). Finally after a few months she got to the point where she wouldn't run hissing and screaming at the sight of him.

Now that he is bigger, he teases her a little, mostly for fun. But the animosity is mostly her fault. At least they will both sleep on the same bed together or with me. That is progress.
