Our crazy next door neighbor's cat Cookie had kittens again - and as soon as these little girls were weaned and started wandering around the outside and nibbling at the dry food we leave out for Cookie and her brood, we asked if we could have them and she gave them to us a couple days ago.
She says they're 8 weeks old, but I'm thinking closer to 6; they were apparently born in early March.

I'm using those interlocking wire storage cube modules (about two sets) that are basically sides you put together like lincoln logs and a medium dog carrier I used when flying with Willy and Moggy years ago to create a multi-level cage/rumpus room to keep them in our room and closet while the other animals get used to having them around and they get big enough to wander around the house without getting into too much trouble. They've got about 12 sq. ft in three levels and an "L" shape to play and live in when they're not out under supervision.
Shari can't figure out what they are - she does want to play with them, but they're still "chew toy" size so we don't want them out when we can't keep an eye on animal interaction.
Princess doesn't like "small cats" - or perhaps she just doesn't like the competition with "her daddy". Pixel's still a bit confused, but it looks as if he'll start playing with them when they get bigger.
They're the only girls in Cookie's latest litter, the other girl was killed by coyotes along with one of her brothers over the last two months, so we look at this as a rescue.
