A GREAT adoption day today
The rescue that I volunteer for had an adoption day today, and we adopted out 18 dogs. Wow. 18 dogs got new forever homes today. Not bad for a sort of snowy morning in the DC area.

I was handling a stray 20 month old chocolate lab male named Kit. I volunteer for a lab rescue, so of course it was a lab. LOL. He was a great dog, everything you would expect a lab to be. He was soooo loving, he had to give a kiss to everybody who passed by. He also had the best lab-lean when you were petting him. He was one of those who got adopted today, it took him a while to find his forever family. I think it took some extra time because he is heartworm positive, the rescue will treat it, but he is going to have to be kept quiet for about 6 weeks after the treatment. Anyway, here is a pic of Kit.

5. It is soooo true
You pet them and they just start leaning into you. Kit had the kind of lab-lean where he would have fallen over if you moved back, because he was totally leaning into you. I love labs.
