Oscar Kitty update
Oscar opened a screen on the kitchen window on Friday and jumped out. I did not notice that he was gone until the movie I was watching ended. I went outside and down to the woods on the other side of the property line fence, and I saw him with another kitty that looked just like him. I thought that this kitty was the one living under my shed that I have been feeding the last three weeks. I set out some fancy feast and called the kitties. They came to the dish, and I was able to grab the wild kitty and put her in the motorhome, suffering collateral damage to both hands and arms (she has CLAWS!, LOL). Oscar refused to let me near him, and stayed outside all night, probably looking for his sister. He came in the next morning, hungry as usual, and freaked out when he saw his sister. He would not let her out of his sight the whole day. So now I have two kitties, Oscar and Rosie. Funny how things work out.

The whole album of pics can be seen here:

The dog is my Max.

7. I've never seen twin kitties before--they are just perfect!
Looks like Oscar has taken matters into his own paws--he wants that sister of his to be rescued!

A couple of beauties! I'm a bit confused. You said one was living under your shed? Are they related or do they just happen to look like twins?

11. Here is the whole story
on the last Saturday of December, I had my elderly Puttycat put to sleep, as he was suffering with terminal thyroid tumors. The next Saturday, January 5, my landlady told me how someone driving a pick-up truck had come down our private drive and abandoned five kittens. Three were taken in at that point by three of my neighbors, leaving two that my landlady wanted her husband to trap and take to the local no-kill shelter. I told her that my sister and I would take in the remaining two. Janet, my sister, managed to snare Oscar for me the next day, but we saw no sign of the remaining kitty. On the following Tuesday, when I let my dog, Max out on his leash, he started barking and staring at something near my shed. I assumed that it was a cat, and started setting out kitten chow under the front corner of the shed. I never saw what kitty lead to the barking, but now I think it was Rosie. Max hasn't barked at the shed since I grabbed her and took her home. So, Rosie and Oscar are littermates, brother and sister. And that's why they look so much alike. And I am so happy they chose me.

12. What a sweet story...

They are a handsome pair. Rosie is lucky to have such a devoted brother. And they both are
fortunate to have you. z
