Pics of my new foster dog and a question for other rescues

Hi,

I have an adorable foster now, as of Sunday night, Diva, a little chihuahua/beagle mix. Poor thing has skin problems, a UTI, Kennel cough and some separation anxiety, but we're getting that taken care of, and she's still the SWEETEST thing.

Our rescue group has more animals in our foster homes now than ever, which is great. We need tags with our rescue group's name and phone # on them while they're in foster.

The cheapest that we've been able to find them is $3 ea. The problem is that we seldom get them back from adopters/fosters, mainly because they are hard to remove.

Any ideas? Sources? I plan to ask the local Petco's, PetsMarts, etc, but wondered if there was another way to get them donated or really cheap.

1. Go to YahooGroups.com.

You will have to register. But then search for Rescue Groups. You can post on their message boards. I'm sure you will get plenty of leads.

6. Our group used

Shrinky Dinks to make tags for the animals. Once shrunk, they're very durable...and cheap. $5 gets you 10 8x10 sheets that you can hand draw/print on or $8.50 will get you 6 sheets that'll work in your inkjet printer.

the shrinky-dink idea is pure genius. I actually did that for my dogs. They were selling them as tags in a shop near me.
