Does your kitty like to "burrow"?
Tucker loves to burrow! Yesterday I was putting out some Halloween decorations and he discovered 2 of his favorite things. A box, and tissue paper. He loves to burrow under tissue paper, clean clothes on the bed, blankets, etc.

she gets under as many covers as she can and works her way across the bed, even if I'm lying in it. She runs into me and adjusts her course to follow my body and go around.

all 3 of my kittens doe this though, it started with their toe hunting but now it's also a game they play where they attack the moving lump.

2. We call her "lumpcat"
She loves when we make the bed, but is happy to get under the covers without help.

The weather is turning, and it's lumpcat time of year again

6. I have to lock Tucker out of the bedroom
when I am changing the sheets on the bed. He likes to get between the matress pad and the fitted sheet. I have left him stuck under there for a few minutes thinking it might cure him of it but he just hunkers down and enjoys every minute of it!

4. My middle cat, the Daemon likes to burrow
under my bed covers, esp as the weather gets cooler. It's our special time together.

5. Althea does that :)
She makes a great foot warmer :). Depending on her mood, she'll either curl up under the covers by my feet, right by my knees, or on the small of my back :)

9. The Daemon (aka the Diva) is very particular,
he paws the covers near my head as a signal to come under, then he sniffs around and curls up next to my stomach, he doesn't purr alot, but he makes this strange happy noise, a chortle for a few minutes until he settles down. Then he proceeds to lick me for about 5 minutes. It's so sweet, and he smells really good. :)

10. That's how Althea indicates she wants under the covers.
She'll sit by my head or shoulders and just kind of dig/paw at the blankets until I life them for her. :) She'll purr for a while, then kind of make that same type of happy noise you described, then she'll go to sleep. What's funny is if you reach under the covers to pet her after she settles down, she'll pounce on your hand. If you're already petting her, she'll just keep on purring contentedly :)

7. Oh yes, Pad Thai burrows
Here's a picture of him with his sister, burrowing so she doesn't know he's sleeping next to her. He often burrows with me.

8. Milo burrows, but it doesn't last long.
He likes to crawl under the covers and snuggle up against me, and then he bites me.

14. That's his St. Francis medal.
It's only about as big as a quarter, but he was a little guy in this picture. He says hi back. :hi:
