Another Firefox question...
I haven't explored add-ons; makes me a little nervous.

But in trying to find a safe whois site (for domain whois info), I saw the following, which is a Firefox add-on that looks up whois info:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10494

Thoughts or experiences?

1. I just installed it.
Works great. It won't hurt. You will be surprised at how many add-ons will make surfing more fun and productive using Firefox. Luv em!

2. What Jazzgirl said ...

Seems to work well.

There are several add-ons that are must-haves. This is one of the things that makes me stick with Firefox rather than use Opera.

Just stick to the ones you find on Mozilla's add-ons page, and you should be fine.

3. I love my firefox add-ons
Some of my favorites are foxy tunes, cooliris, web of trust, web developer and fireshot. I have a few others but those are the ones I use the most.

4. I use several with no issues.
I have something called Aeon Clouds for the customized tool bar buttons, google search bar (couldn't live without it), dictionary, which spell checks as I type, google calendar notifier, IE tab, clear cache, and Stumble, which I thought was way cool when I first got it but never use it any more. It is good for browsing boredom though.

7. I like Stumble too
I've found some of the coolest websites using it but I thought I would use it more than I do also.

5. Extensions are what makes Firefox great
I recommend Adblock Plus unless you like looking at banner ads.

FEBE backs up your bookmarks and other settings.
