1. Yes, possible ...

You need Flash Player 10. It's the first version of Flash with native 64 bit support. I think it is technically still a beta product, but I've had no problems with it.

If you use a previous version of flash, you have to wrap it in a 32 bit emulator, which seriously affects performance.

3. Just one heads up...

The 64-bit Linux flash plugin is officially an alpha-release - Adobe deems it Not Ready For Prime Time.

I've had mixed results with it. On one newer system, it works great - far better than the old 32-bit versions running in nspluginwrapper - far more stable and better performance.

On an older system, it doesn't work at all.

But for most people, it works great. Might as well try it!
