Could someone please help me to return my Desktop command bar,

from its current vertical position along the left side of the screen, to its former horizontal position along the bottom of the screen? Then, also enable me to keep it visible in Internet Explorer, as it vanishes altogether now when I use the Net.

I fiddled around trying to restore the bar to its original setting by right-clicking on it, and obviously made it worse. Something I've not been able to remedy since, either, unfortunately.

It all began when all different windows kept flashing up and around the screen. I can't remember whether it move to the left side of the screen then, or after I had switched it off from the hardware button and rebooted it. It had frozen before that.

right click on task bar, and then make sure "lock the taskbar" is unchecked. Then with your mouse left click on your taskbar while sliding it to the bottom where you want it.

After that, right click on the task bar, choose "properties" and on the Taskbar tab choose:


Keep Taskbar on top of other windows
Lock the Taskbar
click ok
