Tried making something new tonight. 3 words...
Bacon maple brittle.

I floated pieces of it on top of roasted sweet potato soup.

It rocks!

2. for a reception before

our daughter's wedding I set out a variety of things...

I had some of my husband's famous bacon candy left over from breakfast.
(roasted in the oven between layers of brown sugar and real maple syrup until it
becomes leathery)

I chopped it up into bite sized pieces and set it on the table...
It was gone, plate practically licked clean, and people were asking for the recipe.

Bacon - Sweet Bacon - Yes... it rocks!
