Here's a bit about the new book from Dorie's blog, and a recipe for some _really_ delicious sounding Speculoos, a crisp brown sugar spice cookie (can't wait to try some!)

1. This looks really killer good.
I do so love French food. We went to a French restaurant earlier this month and every mouthful was worth swooning over. We shared a pate appetizer; he had the steak au poivre and I had the duck with mirabelle plums. The bread was perfection.... Wish I had more time to spend on her blog. Thanks for the steer in Dorie Greenspan's direction. :hi:

2. I saved that one
and it looks really easy to convert into a wheat free form.

Yes, I'm learning. It's nice to have a new learning curve, actually.
