They sing a song about strawberry apricot pie. I've never had it myself. Sounds good. I'm not much of a pie person but I'd never turn down a piece. In fact I'm probably still carrying about 10 pounds of pie around- which is chump change compared to all the ice cream I tote. Oy! I'm struggling with my eating big time this week. Eating way too much fruit as it is. The cherries are amazing this year and very cheap here in WA this week. Apricots are another favorite of mine and I devoured a pint of local strawberries the other day that were the sweetest I've ever had.

3. yes, that song is what it always makes me think of!
After you talking about the Ranier cherries, I ate a big heap of em last night. So sweet! Make the regular cherries taste kind of sour!


We just had local strawberries a few weeks ago - they taste of the earth - lovely!

I go crazy for fruit this time of year- there is so much of it, I can't stop myself!
