How much are bananas where you are?
Have I been asleep? I looked at the price of bananas at the store today and they are 69 cents a pound?! I used to feel cheated when they were 49 cents per pound. I know prices are crazy across the board but I had not looked at the bananas until today. :o

13. The singles that they bag up for a reduced amount
they tend to lay around. Picky picky people..shame on them

That said, I usually buy organic, and right now, the price is not a big deal because they are now the same price. 79 cents a pound, central ohio

8. That almost makes me feel better....
I'll look at the farmer's market, but then I am using gas to drive out of my way so it almost defeats the purpose. *sigh*

11. I'm in WA state and our apples were up at 2.99 a pound
Last week I was able to get Organic Fuji's for $1.49 lb. They grow here. I wonder why the big price flux week to week.

10. Isn't it crazy?
My family is spoiled by having fruit all the time. I've always sorta griped about it as one of the larger food costs. But now it's even worse.
