I won't be doing any cooking for a week.
Edited on Sun Jan-09-05 12:21 PM by bearfan454
I return this afternoon to finish my CDL truck driving classes in Ft. Worth Tx. It's about 2 1/2 hour drive from here. I come back Friday and then only one more week after that. I have been laid off since August and this is one job these neocon facist criminals cannot ship to China. I am going to beat globalization !

I guess I'll have to rough it with Taco Cabana, Whataburger, bologna sandwiches, .99 cent BK Whoppers, Wendy's .99 cent side salads, pizza, and Chinese.

2. BK chicken sandwich with SPICY sauce is actually pretty good.
I like their grilled salads, too.

Good luck with your class! All that driving will give you plenty of time to think about new yummy recipes to share with us.

7. Keep the shiny side up, bearfan
:hi: My 36 year old son is an independent. He says he would be doing lots better if his fuel costs weren't so obscene.

8. Good luck with your class
Whataburger is pretty good stuff for fast food. Of course they are also the slowest fast food I ever had. :)

9. Good luck and congratulations!
Just this afternoon I went shopping. Your cooking photos came to mind when I was picking up my jalapenos and cilantro . Nice to remember things like that while shopping. I also found the Sofrito today! That is one tasty condiment! And there was also a jar of Recaito next to it so I got that, too. It's green saucey stuff with a very heavy cilantro flavor. I love them both!

I'll be thinking of you this week. Stay safe!

11. They are still really good.
The fresh salsas and pico de gallo makes it for me. Their beef fajitas are really good.

13. Too many tacos will kill you
Everybody loves that Tex-Mex food, it is the food of the Gods. I grew up on it, and can never get enough. Since I learned how to make tamales, my food life is complete. Have a Taco for good health-you-all.
