Searching for Japanese Yum-Yum Sauce recipe.

For years I have been searching for a recipe for the shrimp sauce served in our local Japanese restaurant called yum-yum sauce. Kyoto's has a similiar sauce that they call pink sauce. I've tried many recipes from the internet but I haven't been able to pass the copy test with my family. Any suggestions????

I don't know anything from Japan called "yum-yum sauce."

Ever ask the waiter what's in it? I've gotten great recipes just be asking that simple question.

3. That sounds very close. It's a mayonnaise based sauce.

I'll compare this to other recipes I've tried. Thanks.
