BOCA products now vegan!
Oh hell yeah, now we're rockin' :)

From the BOCA site:

Which BOCA® Foods products are vegan, or free of animal-derived ingredients?

The following BOCA products in our Mainstream line are now designated vegan: Chili Vegan Burger, Roasted Garlic Burger, Roasted Onion Burger, Chik'n Nuggets, Chik'n Patties, Spicy Chik'n Patties, Ground Burger. For the Roasted Garlic Burger and Chik'n Nuggets and Patties, we've recently removed egg, milk, and dairy ingredients to make them vegan. To ensure that the package you have is vegan, we recommend that you check the ingredient line to ensure that egg, milk and dairy ingredients aren't listed.

2. Cool!!
Fake "chicken" nuggets are awesome with a little BBQ sauce, and it's a pain to go search out Health Is Wealth. And "chicken" patties with some soycheez, Nayonnaise, and shredded iceberg lettuce on a bun--nostalgia-food reminiscent of Chick-Fil-A! :9

4. You do know health is wealth reformulated, right?
Thier chicken patties and nuggets aren't vegan anymore. LeftyKid was heartbroken, they're his favorites. :(

9. I haven't had them in more than a year
That sucks, why on Earth would they put animal products in a successful vegan product? :wtf:

6. God, I hope that includes their Grillers.
It's really sad to miss Veggie Burgers, but as a vegan, I missed their Grillers veggie burgers the most out of everything (they had dairy products in them). Their Vegan Burgers taste like frickin' paper bags.

13. Whoop!
I'm going grocery shopping tonight & will look for these -- but will read labels first.

Ohhhhhh, a chik'n sandwich slathered with Vegenaise, topped with lettuce & tomato -- yum!

Thanks for this post!!

14. I saw some Boca burgers labeled vegan a few days ago...
When I was out shopping. I thought maybe I was imagining things since I hadn't seen them before. That was pretty fast!

15. I have some of those.
They honestly aren't very good. They taste kind of like a paper bag.

17. The box used to be red, but I don't remember now.
I've switched to Morningstar Farms Vegan Burgers.

FYI - they're not much better.

19. The ones marked "Original" say "vegan" in green right underneath
the marking stating "Original" which, of course, I love. I think that they've been that way for a while.

18. The unfortunate thing about BOCA
is that it is owned by Kraft aka Philip Morris, a corporation I don't really want to give money to. I just found this out. And there's a good chance they're made of gmo soybeans because they aren't organic. Anyway, I'll probably get some every once in a while for the hell of it and I'm glad they made their products vegan, it's a good sign.
