A New Way has been found to Bottle Gravity.
Obamas Blue Ribbon Panel on Free Energy.

I had a thought a few months ago. Its simple but it would work.

There is more than one way to manipulate gravity.

They say the solar nor wind power will ever be the answer to our energy needs.

There is no way to store the energy produced in times of plenty. To be used at a later date and time.

In times of lean.

Which is true.

And then again. That is not true. You can store gravity.

Thats right. You can bottle gravity and use it later.

Here is how.

Hydro electric power like Hoover Dam. Lake Mead is reservoir Used to store water to be used to produce electricity. The lake fills up each spring with water. There is enough water in Lake Mead to last a whole year. Till when next spring comes around. And the Lake filles up again.

I you use the energy produced by solar and wind.. The excess energy it produces can be used to pump water up the hill and in to a reservoir. A lake up high. And then use that stored energy to produce electricity later.

You are not making a reservoir to store water in.

You are making a reservoir to store energy in. Gravity has a very long self life.

Water pressure. Gravity is what causes the water to build up pressure. The higher the water level the. The higher the water pressure goes.

Hoover dam has a water level of 650 feet. A lot lot lot of water pressure.

The sun shines all year. And the wind blows all year.

There is a over supply of sun light and wind. All over the planet. You can make as many solar cell or wind mills as we need. We can also build as many hydro electric power plants as you want.. If you are recycling your water. The water never gets used up. The reservoir never runs dry. You never run out of electricity.

You would need as big a reservoir below the dam as you have above the dam.

You wouldnt need as big of a reservoir as lake Mead because you will be filling the lake all year long. Instead of just once a year.

You dont use the solar power and wind power to produce electricity with.

You use the solar power and wind power to fill up the reservoir. Move the water in the reservoir up the hill And over the top of the dam. To the reservoir behind the dam..

You never run out of water because you never run out of sun light or wind.

You can fill up the reservoir just as fast as it empties out. Because there is no limit to how many solar cells or wind mills you can build. To refill the reservoir behind the dam.
There is nothing in the rule book that says how many of them that you can build.

Build more Wind Mills than you need.

And if the sun doesnt shine for a few day or the wind doesnt blow for a few days.

There is a reservoir there to carry us through till it does.

A back up system.

The reservoir is the back up system..

Bottled Gravity? Sure.

Solar cell power, and wind mill power. Coupled with the reservoir effect used with Hydro electric power plants.

Is the answer to our power needs.

Where ever water flows. Electricity Go.

And there is an unending supple of flowing water because gravity is ever where. Gravity is with out end.

There is a endless supply of electricity out there. All you have to do is go get it

Its there for the taking. Free.

Simple. And it works.

3. Just found a new link.

http://library.marist.edu/archives/mehp/scenicdecision....

There is more than one.

They are multiplying.

Most of this was done before we found out about Solar Cells and Wind Mills.

Things could be different today.

An old time tested and known to work great technology. Done in a little different way would work.

Free Energy?

Sure.

10. In VA, we have at least two dams that function like batteries.
Edited on Sat May-14-11 06:46 AM by sofa king
When demand is low, for example late at night, our reservoirs pump water from the lower reservoir back to the upper reservoir. Then, when demand is high, the upper and lower dams release water to cover the higher power requirements.

That allows the dam to operate very efficiently, drawing power when it's cheapest and most available, and releasing it when it's most needed. It helps prevent brown-outs and lowers costs of peak demand electricity production. It's also a little more resistant to drought, because some of the water is theoretically re-used.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leesville_Lake

Edit: I should add, however, that wind and solar power generation dedicated exclusively (or mostly) to filling the reservoir is the perfect add-on to the existing plan. That way, no non-renewable energy is expended to keep the reservoir battery "charged," and in the unlikely event that the dams fill to capacity, all of the power sources can be directed to feeding the power grid.

Dead plants + pressure + time...

That is one of the reasons I always laugh when a coal man says Solar Power is "inefficient." Compared to what, your compressed fern rocks?

I like the idea of reservoirs of stored power to smooth put wind and solar cycles.

This one tell you to use solar and wind mills to return the water.

They say that they are doing it.

But if they were doing this.

There shouldn't be any shortages of electricity.

Some thing not right here.

8. Good post.
But that was back then.

Today they are building wind mills all over the place.

It not like we dont have any mountain here in America. Or canyon.

You dont need a river if all of the water is being recycled.

All you need is a place to build a dam.

Why isnt any body talking about this.

You could build a small one in your back yard and never pay a electric bill again

This is the way to go.

For our energy needs.

9. Are you kidding???? That idea is known for years!
Ask anybody working for an energy company (nuclear, wind, solar...) and they will tell you that this is the only way to store the massive amounts of energy. (Forget the giant capacitor from "Batman 2".)

11. Electric Utilities use those giant capacitors to smooth the power curve (keep it at 60Hz)
Edited on Sat May-14-11 07:14 AM by txlibdem
I agree that capacitors are only a good choice for very short term energy storage. Utilities use them to match electrical supply with demand and keep everything in phase (since we're stuck with AC transmission).

Supercapacitors, however, can be used very beneficially in an electric or hybrid vehicle to store regenerative braking energy. AFS Trinity has a demonstration vehicle and some impressive test data that show how supercapacitors would be beneficial, their hybrid gets 150 MPGe.

13. El Hierro, Canary Islands:
Five windmills on the northeastern end of the island will power a pumping station that, when the wind is blowing, will drive water 2,300 feet uphill, from a small, 5 million-cubic-foot (150,000-cu-m) reservoir down by the shore to a larger, 19 million-cubic-foot (550,000-cu-m) reservoir snuggled into one of the islands volcanic craters. When the wind abates, water from the top depository will be released, along 1.8 miles (3 km) of mostly camouflaged pipes, into the bottom one, and the pressure of that falling water will drive six hydraulic turbines. In other words, El Hierro will combine the two resources in which it abounds to deliver a continuous supply of electricity, no matter the weather.

Gravity has been around for a long time.

And the best part about gravity is.

Its going to be around for a lot longer time to come.

Cant be bought. Cant be sold.

No one is going to pay you good money for gravity.

They have more than they need. More than they can use up in a life time.

And its this way with every one else.

There is so much gravity around now days. We are gravity poor.

If you just built a small one in your back yard. You could run your hose and your car off it.

And every body elses house and car in town off it.

Farmer and ranchers have been using wind mills to pump water up out of the ground for a long time.

If a wind mill can pump water up out of the ground. 650 feet.

They can pump water up a hill to a storage tank. 650 feet.

650 Feet. Thats how deep the water level is on Hoover Dam

It produces the Electric Power to run Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and all of the little towns in between.

Im not saying that you should go out and build your self a Hoover Dam.

To have a in house generator. All you would need a big storage tank at the top of a 650 hill. And 1/4 plastic tube to the bottom of the hill. To your generator.

And a big storage tank at the bottom of the hill. And several old ranch stile wind mils to pump the water back up the hill to the storage tank.

Never pay another Electricity Bill

If every body did this.

The Power Co. Would go broke.

They say that if you hook up your system to the grid. The power co. has to send you a check at the end of the month$$$.

Money from nothing. How can this be?

20. Funny you should mention Clocks.
I like what you are saying.

Its hard for me to but into words of what I see in the system.

Lets just say that all you had was one wind mill.

This one wind mill produced all the electricity you could use in one day. Every thing is working out all right.

Then one day the wind stops blowing. You dont have any electricity that day.

But. You are getting your wind for free. So. Who is counting. Right.

I like the part where it says for free

If wind is like money. You could say You are getting your money for free.

If electricity cost you money to buy. Then.

Wind is like money. Wind is money. See?

If you built two wind mills.

One is used as the pay as you go. Plan.

And the other you use to put in the wind bank. Storage. Used to fall back on in times of lean. When the wind stop blowing. Just like you do your money.

The high cost of energy is killing America.

The high cost of energy is used as a tool to suppress and control the people of America.

The high cost of energy is used to exploit the people.

Energy has a 3,000% mark up and more on it. They are robbing you blind.

They get there energy for free and then send you a $300 bill at the end of the every month.

They are using the high cost of energy to keep you poor. This way they can get more work out of you.

There is no such thing as a wind bank.

But if you convert the energy from the wind into the kinetic energy of gravity.

The kinetic energy from gravity can be stored for a very long time.

The kinetic energy of gravity?

Kinetic energy?

There are a lot of different themes and variation on the storing the kinetic energy of gravity.

Grand Father Clocks use the kinetic energy of counter weights to work. They run off gravity.

The stored kinetic energy of gravity..

In west Texas we have oil wells. Some of the holes that they drill in the ground go down three miles. That is close to 16,000 feet deep.

There is a lot of empty spaces where a man could drill a lot of holes.

And you can dill as many holes as you like.

Once you drill a hole. For some reason that is not clear to me. They last a very long time.

If you put a steel pipe down the hole to keep it open. May last for 100 years. Or more.

You could say that they are recyclable. You get to use the same old hole over and over again and again.

There are ways to win at this game of energy that we play.

And have fun while we are doing it.

Cut the cost of drilling holes.

They drill a lot of holes here in west Texas.

Over the past fifty years they have drilled a lot of dry hole. That is where they drill a hole and didnt find any oil. They just cap the hole and move on.

They have drilled a lot of holes that have run dry. No more oil left in them. They cap the hole and move on.

The holes are all ready drilled. They could be bought for penny on the dollar.

Sooner or later all of those holes will run dry. We could start now to putting all of those 3 million holes in the ground to good use.

And if we dont have enough holes . We have the drilling rigs. We could all ways drill more.

We have the wind. We have the wind mills and we have the holes. We have the drilling rigs There is nothing in the rule book that would keep us from doing this.

What do you think? Clockworks Orange? One flew over the KooKoos nest? or Catch 22 ?

17. So if this works in principle
why can't we do it with something other than water?

Why can't we use a spools of heavy beads on string? Or a reservoir of tiny spheres that fall and are refilled into the reservoir using solar and wind power?

23. Water is a natural resource
Edited on Sun May-15-11 04:51 PM by chillspike
We need it for other things like drinking.

Besides, as i said, if this works in principle, why construct ginormous dams, diverting a much needed resource, and rip apart the earth to create energy when, if on principle, we can do the same thing on a smaller, compact scale with a man-made "fuel"?

Plus, I have some reservations about the water idea actually working. Over time, since the sun and wind only work for us at their own pace, our demand for energy from this contraption would probably eventually exceed the supply faster than the sun and wind could refeed it. i mean, it's just basically solar and wind power with a middleman. We still would be dependent on the sun to shine and the wind to blow just as we are now with wind and solar.

If we built one using ferromagnetic spheres that would fall using gravity and then could be spit back into the reservoir with magnetic tracks we wouldn't have to wait for the sun and wind and nature to refill the reservoir. We could refill when we wanted, day or night, rain or shine.

There are way to make things move up hill by using magnets.

And we are getting better at it as time goes by.

You could all magnet motor to pump the water back up the hill.

22. Thanks for the link.
But I didnt see any wind mills or solar cells.

What is new is this ideal of using wind power and solar sells to pump the water back up hill even in peak demand times. During the day.

This way you could increase the number of generator that could be run at one time off the same dam and water.

And I see that you have four of the pump dam there,

What Im trying to do is down size the system so that you could have a in house generator and not have to pay a large power bill at the end of each month.

Produce your own electricity.

A penny saved is a penny earned.

Right? Sure it is.
