Hello everyone,

I am doing research in health care and need people like you take a survey about their attitudes of the health care system. The survey is fairly straightforward and asks questions about doctor visits and medical records. The survey will take about 7 minutes. The survey is open to people age 18 and over and who live in the U.S. The study results will not identify individuals but provide results as statistical aggregates. I am trying to target people who are are concerned about health care. You will not be asked personal questions and you will not need to identify yourself.

1. Done. But I don't think much of the sampling strategy.

These are the comments I posted on the survey:
You will not get a representative sample this way. But I understand that a doctoral student needs to get respondents, get the survey done, then get the whole damn dissertation done. Still, I would raise strong questions of my own doctoral students regarding the approach to sampling.
