Well, first off, let me apologize if this comes off as another nagging kind of support plea - because I'm sure some of you make tons of donations. But a young college age man posted his first appeal on a gay web site I'm fond of (Pam's HouseBlend @ http://www.pamshouseblend.com) and he's going to participate in Soulforce's campaign this year.

Most of you know that they've created quite a stir taking political action by directly confronting and engaging in discussion with con-servative "Christian" colleges which engage in open discrimination against gay students and society. These young people make a lot of sacrifices in order to make a difference through this direct action - and they've had a positive influence on many people on previous trips. I believe this is the same group which has also participated in demonstrating outside Focus on the Fanny...er..."Family"...and is led by Rev. Mel White.
