9. The pictures may help. The use of picture books is a method

that is often employed, with some success, by cognitive behavioral therapists/specialists when helping cognitively challenged persons learn how to communicate more effectively.

Sadly, however, those that cannot grasp the reality of LGBT rights fall on the low end of the spectrum of cognitively challenged persons.

But, *sigh*, this is definitely worth a try.
