question for you all
Edited on Fri Nov-04-11 07:11 PM by w8liftinglady
As you probably know,I make meditation beads for all my patients,co-workers,neighbors,etc.It helps ME meditate, and I love their expressions.
I got to thinking....I have a ton of rainbow-colored seed beads, and a ton of hope charms...would it be acceptable for me to make some for The Dallas Resource Center?Would a hope ribbon(totally secular) be appropriate,or should I use something else(I am talking large quantities)What would be the best colors(I know-stupid,but I'm asking)...and would anyone like one?If you do,simply pm your mailing address.Like I said,it's how I meditate-keeps me from swearing(so much)

Ps- In case I needed to mention- I'm a Quaker- we can't charge for good deeds...It makes me feel good...they are stretchy, and you can wear them as a bracelet or just hold them...

1. I think it's an excellent idea...
And very thoughtful of you.

That said, if you want to donate it to a group I honestly would offer them to the group first. That way they can tell you what they think of the idea and if you make them an offer of color choices they might be able to give you a far better answer than I could.

You rock.

(Had to be said.)

I'm sure the Dallas Resource Center would be more than glad to accept your generous gift.

You never cease to amaze me w8liftinglady, your heart so big & your intentions so pure. As Will said you rock!

P.S. Swearing helps me keep my sanity in such a insane world, so theres another one up you have on me. I tried mediating but all that accomplished for me at least was I would swear at myself.

4. Wow. I wish America had about 350 million others just like you.
I'm not really into organized religion, but if I was, I think I would also be a Quaker...or a Buddhist.
