That's spectacular! You certainly should be broadcasting it everywhere. It's a terrific accomplishment at any age, but having it come a bit later in life is just so much sweeter, is it not?

My first novel was published when I was 52. There's no sweeter feeling than seeing your book on the shelf in a bookstore.

4. Aww thanks. . .but shoot. . .

I only wrote about 16-17 pages in one chapter of a book about gays in the media. . .but yes, you know I'm as excited about seeing it as the first time I published a newspaper story many years ago. Heck, I'm almost afraid to read it - but I did browse through the whole book and it really has some great chapters about our struggles in media over the years.

But my hats off to you. . .how wonderful that you are a novelist! I think that kind of dream is still off in the distance for me..:-).

I have a fund set up at West Virginia University library for the library to buy GLBT themed books and they recently sent me the list and I noticed that there was a book from on there from Sage Publishing.

I might have to ask the acquisition person about possibly getting your book
