Federal Appeals Court Rules That DADT Will Remain In Place Indefinitely
remain in place indefinitely
A US federal appeals court has ruled that Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell should stay in place indefinitely. The decision by the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals means that the ban on out gay soldiers is expected to be retained throughout a legal battle over whether it is constitutional.

4. Because equal rights is divisive!
I dislike this part of the 'happy, happy' rules of conduct to which cheer-leading is chained.

6. Ahh . . .
right.

Neglected to pop over to the local inculcation center for my happy pill, obviously - or I would have instantly understood why it belonged in the 'not to be mentioned' category.

Silly me . . . thinking something like that was relevant.

9. Good grief.
Of course not.

Asking such a divisive question would upset delicate sensibilities and cause them to vote for the Teabaggers.

Or something.

3. Yep.
"Suck it up today, whine tomorrow" seems to be the mantra around here today.
