Lambert fans in Missouri were ready to counter-protest, bringing over 200 people holding signs like, “It’s okay to be gay.”

Lambert himself went outside before the concert to greet the dedicated group. According to the Daily Kos he signed autographs onto protest signs as he thanked supporters.

Later, he tweeted “Amazing Anti-Hate protest outside venue. Completely outnumbered the Westboro Bastard Church of Ignorance. Love overcomes hate. I LOVE FAGS!!”
