Gay Batman Exhibit Ordered Closed, Gay Musical Busted

(New York City) A New York art gallery has been ordered to remove an exhibit of watercolors showing Batman and Robin in a variety of romantic poses.

The works of artist Mark Chamberlain had been on display at the Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts Gallery on West 26th Street since February. The order to remove them came from DC Comics which owns Batman.

"DC Comics wants me to hand over all unsold work," said Cullen.

Arts website Artnet also was ordered to remove copies of the art from its website.
